Windows Crash Report Tool

We are explaining how to use this 3rd party tool to be able to investigate crashes on user machines: http://code.google.com/p/crashrpt/

Installation in pre 0.36.3

• get WTL:
  • get and install latest WTL: http://sourceforge.net/projects/wtl/
  • unpack and add the include path to the global VS include directory (under options)
• compile crashrpt:
  • get the latest release: http://code.google.com/p/crashrpt/downloads/list
  • download and unpack to any directory
  • open the fitting .sln file in visual studio
  • switch to "Release" mode and build the solution

Enabling in RoR

enable the ROR_CRASH_REPORT flag in cmake
