There does not exist, at this time, a totally compatible editing application which will produce a usable truck file on export. This is under development.

Editorizer
- Supports Windows XP/Vista
The Editorizer is a free, custom piece of software made by forum member Ben. It is a simple 3D working environment tailored to RoR. At the moment you can only create nodes/beams with the Editorizer.
Blender
- Supports Windows, Linux, MacOS
Blender is a free 3D graphics program. With the RoR exporter, it supports node/beam placement along with UV facing and submeshing.
AC3D
- Supports Windows, Linux, MacOS
AC3D is a non-free software for modeling.
Notepad
It is entirely possible to create a truck for RoR entirely in notepad. Just see the Truck Description File.
