Crash Report

What is it?

The crash reporting utility is the Airbag for RoR. It activates once RoR crashes and tries to gather information on why RoR crashed.

This information can then be sent to the developers, so they can fix the problem.

How to use it

Once RoR crashed, you will get this dialog. IMPORTANT: this is NOT the default windows dialog with no function, please use it!

Please click on "Provide additional info..." and fill in your details like this:

If you provided an email, the developer has the chance to contact you. You can view the content of the report by clicking on the "What does this report contain" link.

Then click on the "Send Report" button, the report is then sent via HTTP.
