    Default Mercedes-Benz C-Class

    Hi,
    AM V12 & I (yodel714) have got together to make the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Saloon.
The n/b is still very basic but I'm just getting the shape of the car, then I'll "convert" it to flexbody!
It already has realistic performance (RPM, top speed & braking) although it still has a few bugs.

    Hi

Here are some pics of the mesh so far. I've still got quite a bit still to finish - the front doors, bumper and part of the chassis etc, then I'll move onto the interior

Also I can't seem to find pics of the Merc completely front-on (I really need it for the n/b), can anyone help?
    Thanks!

Nice project guys. I hope you will make weightuning and use load nodes for more realistic driving. It helps lot to make realistic car.
And also split cars front, roof and rear into three part, like on this image I used in Silverado thread.

AMV12: Nice work. Will you use textures, or just materials?

I never liked mercedes that much but I'll do my best to help you
And as so, I think I should tell you that the number in the back tells you which engine it has

    C180 - C class 1.8l petrol engine
    C220 cdi - C class 2.2l diesel engine

and so on with lots of different engines, the fastest one is the C63 AMG, the direct opponent to the BMW M3 (even knowing it has twice the cc it has almost the same power)

when it's a top model AMG It's like this

    C32 AMG - C class 3.2 liter petrol engine
    C63 AMG - C class 6.2 liter petrol engine

Notice that the "0" in the end isn't there anymore

If you knew this already than don't mind me, I was just trying to help you and I hope I did

    Nice work over there guys!
You should work on a 1998 or something Class-E 200 (Avangrade). My father & Lifter (Not 100% the same) have the same. So i can give you details

Not trying to offend here but a lot of the posts are suggesting we make other cars and trims. Thanks to you all for the compliments and encouragement but please can we wait until this is finished before suggesting other cars

    Cheers

looks great, but you better build the flexbody into the n/b right from the start or it'll be a pain in the ass to make it deform right!

    Well...
I'm not sure how to make a flexbody from scratch (this is my first one!) and I still haven't finished the n/b of the first one. :-/
I think I'll finish the one I'm working of at the moment, if it no worky then I'll start it again!
