    Default Inertia Help

I'm making a rally/racing chassis just to test out suspension, wheels and handling stuff. Its going very well but I want it to perform well using keyboard controls.
Using the set inertia defaults line and have tried using smooth, constant, smoothcrane, revprogressiv etc. as well as various timing delays, all seem to have an affect at low speeds but at high speeds they appear to make no difference.
For reference i'm looking at this; Truck_Description_File#Set_inertia_defaults

"set_inertia_defaults 0, 0, constant constant" is the line i'm currently using, is there anyway to improve this or would the game code need to be changed to fix it?

I simply do not want speed to be a factor in steering response, what can be changed?

Also, I'm think putting 0 as delays won't work, looking at the code in this thread; Inertia-is-this-a-bug

Have you tried defining your own torque curve?

No, I haven't tried. But have I tried the predefined torque curves and chose to use the "constant" because I figured it would make the hydros more responsive since it is always a value of 1.0/100%

Using other torques & delays > 1 make the steering unresponsive and "laggy"

This might help a bit. It's a simple spreadsheet I made to give me a visual representation of the torque curve.

Thanks, I think i can solve the steering inertia with mechanical advantages and airspeed animators.
But the spread sheets should definatly help with engine tuning and gear ratios!
