I do. I just don't release anything because my stuff has been stolen so many times. I use FL Studio, Reason 5 and Acid.

Do you have any equiment? I have a midi keyboard and i use ableton.

I have a full midi keyboard I found in my basement. I would use my electric drum set for recording drum beats but I can just do it on my keyboard. Never release my stuff because I find it utter crap still, but I'm improving.

Practising is the key to success. I have improved a lot since i started, just by practising. Still much to do to become "good"

I'm learning classic piano to ABRSM grade 8 standard. But I also produce a bit of electro here and there. My flaws are that I struggle to come up with ideas for a song, and when I get a song started, I can just never make it long enough to be finished.

I use:

-M-Audio keystation 88es (midi keyboard controller)
-Korg Nanokontrol 2 (midi controller)
-M-audio Fast Track Pro (audio interface/soundcard)
-My crap computer I got for free
-My HiFi system for speakers. (on audio forums they'll tell you there's no point in using moniters If your room isin't sound treated.)

I also have a Korg Kaosilator but It's not much use to me
