    Default ZIP File Problem

You know when you download a vehicle or what not in a ZIP file, it should look like a folder zipped up on the left side? Well, mine doesn't do that. It looks like an Internet Explorer emblem. I didn't play RoR for maybe a month or 2 or two, now all the zip files look like partially downloaded files. When I want to go in a vehicle file, you double click it right? When i double click my files, they just Open up like a million Google browsers. Can anyone help me?

It seems like you messed up the .zip file association (i.e. you changed the default program for opening .zip files).
What operating system are you using?

You need administrative rights to use the following registry fixes.

    Check the following pages:

Windows Vista: File association fixes for Windows Vista

Windows 7: File Association Fixes for Windows 7

Windows XP: Windows® XP File Association Fixes

Choose .zip from the list and follow the instructions.

By the way I posted a solution for Vista in a similar thread already three years ago: i-need-held-badly-%28-zip-files-%29

I am using Windows 7. Whenever I want to open the file, it opens up a bajillion browsers, instead of opening it like ZIP file.

What does the address bar say for those? Do they name the files in your .zip?

Did you try the solution I posted above?
If you are afraid of clicking the link I posted
you can set the default application that opens .zip files by following these instructions:
    1. Right click on a .zip file>Open with>Choose default program
    2. Check the option that says 'Always use the selected program to open this kind of file'
    3. Have a look if Explorer/Windows Explorer is in the list (most likely it isn't), if not, click 'Browse' and navigate to C:\windows\ ,
find the program called explorer.exe (or just explorer if you don't have file extensions enabled) click on it and click 'Open'
    4. Click OK
Now you should be able to open .zip files with Windows Explorer.
