    Default Scania Truck Driving Simulator

Recently, SCS software has been working on a game called Euro Truck Simulator 2. One of their side projects (quite miserable) was Trucks and Trailers. Now, They've developed yet another side project called Scania Truck Driving Simulator (STDs ) and they did a better job than on trucks and trailers! Instead of driving your "Swift" truck, you'll be in an authentic scania with real engine sounds. If your computer doesn't have very good graphics, there are many options for you to make the game run smoothly without looking too bad! For those with great graphics, the game looks stunning! I reccomend trying the demo before you buy in case you don't like it. It features dangerous drives, Young European Truck Driver challenge, free roam delivery, and license/reaction testing. You can use your H-shifter and clutch, and use all 12 gears! The "looking" feature while in the cab is greatly improved upon, and it just seems more realistic than ever. EVER. So if you can't wait until ETS2 is done, check out STDS and you'll get a taste of what is to come!

I'm not sure Trucks and Trailers should be called "miserable." It was a great tech demo, and wasn't supposed to be taken as a full release.

I have it and I like it, but Most people say it wasn't what they expected with a few minor changes.

I received the game by a gift by SCS Software, because i helped to translate the game to spanish.

Equally, SCS software says add free content for the next week.

I have been playing STDS for a couple of days now, and as a real world truck driver, I must say that this is the closest I have felt to the real thing in a simulator. And if this is a preview of things to come, as it is, in ETS2, I am most definitely going to buy ETS2 and get me a G27 wheel.
Of course this simulator is "just" for those who really appreciate and understand the intricate bits and pieces of manoeuvring an articulated lorry through some of the narrowest places, or those who would like to and have the patience to learn how it is done. If you want to customize a truck, make money or just break to the speed limit as often as you can barrelling down the road pushing other road users out of the way, this is most definitely not a game for you.
This said the long wait for August and ETS2 is on, and this is the perfect thing to settle your fine-driving trucking nerve.

Agreed! It is great playing with a wheel. It feels very realistic as you said. Im going to buy this too instead of just the demo
