I've started a terrain. no where near finished, just tell me if you think it has potential

yeah so i want to make a map maybe release.
as a terrain maker in training i need feedback so here it is

It's just a map yet, anyone can do that with L3dT in half an hour,
and any of those maps looks about the same.

If you want it to be a great map then do some sculpting, add plain flat areas for villages,
make nice roadlevelling, maybe also add some train lines or a port,
then fill it with a lot of roads and buildings, that's what makes your map something great or something boring.

I used L3DT before, and I build a crawling map in like 2 hours. If anybody wants to attemp an import for me (I read all the wikis and FAILED!) I would be appreciated I built it a long time ago for a game called 1insane

You shoudn't give up on importing a map into RoR. If you follow the wiki exactly it usually works every time. I find however, the tutorial is a little outdated, and the idea of copying the files from Aspen Grove might confuse a few people.

yes i am going to take my time with it and add alot of things, how can i make flat areas and add buildings. i will finish this

i have followed it and it has failed. i posted a thread on the problem. im not giving up
