Collect money from community for the shareware engine and buy it. Then move ROR to the engine. e.g. Unity price $1500. If 500 people give $10 == $5000 !!
It is quite possible. Beautiful graphics, high fps, [good mod tools], etc. provided
    sorry for bad english

    • I would like to see the game running on quad core processors.
    • Better weather would be really nice, such as rain not falling through cars and wind conditions. Perhaps simulated weather?
    • Documentation on the wiki being up to date with tutorials available for all major os's (if i were to use today as an example it would be: win 7, win xp ,mac osx and maybe some form of linux)
    • Ror on mobile devices, they are already catching up with pc's, i doubt they will ever overtake pc's unless pc's become redundant but soon they should have the power and hopefully windows 8 arm and ror supporting arm cpu's
    • A large collaborative ror map (size of a small country: eg wales)
    • Ror being accurate enough that professionals could use the software to design cars and crash test them accuratly
    • Ror still being free
    • The ability to switch maps in game
    • removing cars in game never causing a crash

    • The good health of all the users
    • The game legally prints money (but only for me)
    • That the developer still sacrifices his time willingly and happily to the game, just like Tdev has done (thanks Tdev) (saying this because i wouldn't want tdev to leave and be replaced by an idiot)

Good luck and have fun Tdev

Hitting ESC wont close the game. That is all I want.

I would really like to see a video tutorial on a beginners guide to programing in ROR. I do know the basics of c++ and have read the wiki, but when I go to the source files I just don't understand how it is all linked. If there was a basic video showing us how to create an extra menu or something, I think that would really help allot of us who want to help out.

I personally think that a better GUI system would be great, really help allot of general players take on the game. For example, I did not know about the day and night system until I read it in the forums, and there are a lot of people out there who don't bother with forums. I think a link in game to the repository would be great, maybe a home screen with tutorials, menus, a proper save and load system. All these small things make the game look more appealing, and easier to use and learn to the general person.

Also a some sort of mission system, this is very important while I like just doing my own stuff, having a goal is always more entertaining, for everybody. Maybe even a system like http://www.airhauler.net/ where you run a business with profits, costs, times and so on.

Obviously everyone wants better graphics, multi core support, gpu processing, better dynamic weather. This stuff is continues development and will happen one day, so there is no need for hoping for it, all you need to do is wait.

I know back in 0.37 there was an option in the configurator where you could change what key does what, but I can't find that option in 0.38/0.39.

    Maybe something like this? Bus-Route-test-map
My prayers go out to all those affected by the tornadoes of 5/20/13.
