Kenworth T800SH Trucks with Meyer Road Pro plow

Well, I think its time to release my Kenworth T800SH, That I've been working on for over a year now.


I present to you The Kenworth T800SH With 11' Meyer RoadPro Snow Plow and Under tailgate salt spreader.

Animated Dump Cylinder
Snow Plow that Actually Trips When you hit something
Lots of Details
Lots of other stuff I can't Remeber, Might type more here later.

NOTE:

The cab is as finished as I plan on doing, so please don't ask about it or say it isn't finished.

Controls
----------------------------
F3-F4 Hood open/close
F5-F6 Raise/Lower Dump bed
F7-F8 Open/Close Tailgate
F9-F10 Angle Plow left/right
F11-F12 Raise/Lower Plow
CTRL+F1 - CTRL+F2 Raise/lower Spreader Hatch Gate
G To activate Salt Spreader

To hook up the plow: drive up to it
To unhook: Press Alt+L

Lights
------------------------
N Turns on the Head lights, plow lights and most of the Running lights
M Turns on the Beacon on the Cab Guard
CTRL+1 Turns on the High Beams
CTRL+2 Turns on the Working Plow lights, i.e, The hidden light bars, and the Blinky lights on the cab guard corners
CTRL+3 Turns on the Cab guard Corner lights for when not plowing

There are Three Files Attached. One Has the Truck and the Snow plow, The Second is the .skinZip with the colors I made and the Last one is the .PDN Files I used to make the skinfiles.

Please do not distribute any mods of this without my permission Skinzips are ok, but other modifications are not. This includes Trading your mods or other ways of "Privately" Releasing them, If I find out that people are doing this I will take down my links. You have been warned.

Known Problems:

If the plow is angled, it will straighten up before it trips

You may need to regen the cache after you put the truck into your packs folder, it seems to give an error the first time, but I'm not quite sure why.

Well I figured it was time to make a thread for the modded T800s that I've been working on. I'm probably going to release the dump truck first with others following as I work on them.

What's been done:

*New realistic Dump bed mesh
*Realistic Meyer plow mount
*added a more American Style pintle hitch
*changed the tires to ones that I made
*added a rear window to the cab
*added an Under-tailgate spreader
*made the cab and hood skin-able
*added a Guid to the truck so that you can use .skinzips
*and a few other minor things that I can't think of right now

What still needs to be done:

*AO bake the rest of the truck and some more of the smaller plow parts.
*finish adding the working lift cylinder
*finish the rear tires
*some other minor things to improve the truck

I have made a 9', 10' and 11' Meyer Road plow, but the 9' is really small in front of the T800, so I am still debating on including it when I do release this.

Also most of these Pics are older so there may be some differences.

This looks fantastic, The orange plow reminds me of the T800 plow that you get to use in: 18 Wheels Of Steel: Extreme Trucker. These plows are VERY accurate, Great work. I'm sure these will be the BEST plow's in R.o.R to date.

Hate to risk sounding like a noob. But have you thought about a wing plow on the side of the truck?

Ya I did. I also thought about making a more heavy/commercially used plow such as a Monroe or Wausau, but I could not find any good detailed parts diagrams so for now this is what I have made

I never use the interior view and I see it as a waste of polys most of the time so most likely not.
