Default 1973 Ford Falcon XB GT Coupe

This is a big old Australian muscle car. It's got a beefy 351 Ford V8

I guess you could say this was a collab with Gabester. The entire node and beam chassis is his work and he had a huge impact on making sure my modelling was perfect.

The car isn't quite finished but it's finished enough to have some fun with. Mod the car all you like just give credit where it's due (for both myself and Gabester) just don't expect to be allowed to release it. Also, be warned that if you do make a custom mod it may not work with future updates of the car. I've also got a couple of other versions planned as well. You'll see them in a future update.

Nice stuff! I've always wanted to see and Aussie muscle car in RoR, even if it is a ford :P

could do with being a little shinier

Also, the steering wheel still isn't quite centered on the column, and the interior camera isn't quite centered on either

Body paint or all over? I usually find giving too much reflection to a surface causes it to loose a lot of saturation so I try not to over do it

All over. The body paint looks like it's faded or matte and the chrome just looks white. Chrome should be pretty dark on your diffuse texture (darker than 50% gray) since RoR's sun is really bright, and very light on the specular map.

This looks awesome but at 70MPH the rear end it all over the place, really hard to control. But it crashes good at 70MPH, not so good at lower speeds.

You and gabester NEED to work together on more cars! This is awesome! And you did it without a WIP thread... I admire that

Do you think you could make an opening hood? The only way we can see that magnificent engine is if we crash the car, and even then the engine is usually destroyed.

Yeah, something's up with the Bandit chassis (and most RWD meshwheels2 cars for that matter) that makes their straight line stability terrible. I wish I knew why it happens or how to fix it.

Might be a bit difficult to replace the latch beams with commands because there are a lot of them and they're all angled funny.

You could try hitting a curb really hard or landing a jump to pop the latch

I have modified a few cars to be RWD or just modified them to handle better while being RWD, adding more friction to the rear wheel nodes just to see if I can get it to handle better, seems like most RWD cars have the friction set way to low, doesn't shift all over the road and doesn't want to just flip in turns. (Seems like it would when you add more friction.) Keeping the front wheels with the same traction settings normally works, I could make a quick video of the handling comparison if you want.
