    Default Racemax - updated with angelscript race

    Whipped this up in a couple hours. It's like Streetcross but more tight and technical. It has some cool chicanes with barriers, and I made some crappy curbs built into the terrain heightmap. It's also got a few armco barriers.

    Updated with angelscript race!

    Race... to the max! Racemax!

    to make races you have to put the coordinates of the checkpoints that you want to use in a .as file.it's something like this:
    Code:
    #include "base.as"
    #include "races.as"
    racesManager races();
    void main()
    {
     races.showCheckPointInfoWhenNotInRace = true;
     array<array<double>> coordinates =
      {
    {227.552307, 21.861389, 1788.101685, 0.000000, 0.000000, 0.000000},
    {228.571899, 22.436317, 1455.740967, 0.000000, 0.000000, 0.000000},
        };
     races.addRace("name of the race", coordinates, races.LAPS_One);
    }
    you can use as much coordinates as you want (they are in red) the first coordinate should be the start
    and you have to fill in a name for the race (in blue) and change the laps (in green)
    EDIT: you can also use this
    Code:
    #include "base.as"
    #include "races.as"
    racesManager races();
    void main()
    {
    races.showCheckPointInfoWhenNotInRace = true;
    array<array<double>> coordinates =
    {
    {227.552307, 21.861389, 1788.101685, 0.000000, 0.000000, 0.000000},
    {228.571899, 22.436317, 1455.740967, 0.000000, 0.000000, 0.000000},
    };
    // race name coordinates #laps checkpoint object startline object finishline object race version int raceID =
    races.addRace("name of the race", coords1, races.LAPS_Laps, "new-checkpoint", "new-checkpoint-start", "new-checkpoint-start", "unknown_author-1.0");}
    colors mean the same as the ones above here. but here you can also add the checkpoint meshes you want. names of the meshes are in purple.

    EDIT2: awesome terrain!

    One Question: Did you use the Track Pack .trrn file for this terrain? Otherwise, great work~
    Err, yeah, I based it off the streetcross.terrn but took everything out and changed everything... kinda pointless question

    @jerom: thanks! I'll see about adding checkpoints/races soon

    Awesome, I was hoping that you would make a track similar to your previous ones with Angelscript races.

    I love the car in the picture. it reminds me of an old 66 charger. The track is pretty sweet as well. can't get a lap time worth posting yet though.

    Is the race made to submit the lap times? Because I did 2 laps earlier and they don't show up on the site.

    I have a bug to report, The first checkpoint is behind the start/finish line so you can't run a race with timing.

    No idea. It doesn't seem to be working, but I have no idea how to set it up for that. I just copied and edited the .as file from a race that WAS working.

    You're driving the track backwards.

    EDIT: added a reverse version (reordered the checkpoints)

    Managed 50 seconds in an MV4S on my first run.

    May I direct you to the Race script generator: http://ror.cifpo.tk/downloads/Tools/...generator.html

    It allows you to set many options and parameters that you might have thought you couldn't change, and generates an entire .as file with as many races on one terrain as you want. It will allow you to ensure that the races are being submitted to the master server, since you didn't specify in your file that they should. However, I think the response from the server with the "Submitted" thing means that it is working correctly, but not showing up on the submitted data page.

    Also, everyone redownload the track and try setting a time again, I think I may have fixed it

    The FPS on this map gets playable only when I change view distance to around 60m. Anything more than that lags unbearably. What am I doing wrong? My computer gets great FPS with Gabester's cars after I've removed contacters, and it's not complete sh*t, so why do I get such horrible FPS with this map? Please don't get mad at me, I would just like to know what's happening here.
