    Default Gavril GV

I guess it might be worthwhile to make a WIP thread for this one, though I'm gonna be laying the hammer down on non-contributing posts. Give me useful feedback or don't post. Also, posts telling me what car you think it looks like will be deleted.

This is smaller than the MV4 (wheelbase is 108 inches vs 116). Same class as a BMW 3 series or Audi A4.

    Planned versions:
    GV5 (2.5L I4, RWD)
    GV5S (3.6L V6, AWD)
GV5R (undecided about the engine, it could fit the 4.6L V8 from the MV4S)
    GV5X (rally)

There'll also be a GV3 for every version (coupe)

    To do:
    Finish textures
    Finish flares
    Interior
    Other versions

    Early WIP textures (GV5S pictured)

This looks great! It has a very muscular and sporty appearance. For the "R" I think you need to use a wider wheelbase, with either a wide body kit, or at least a simple overfender. This will look great as a rally car as well!

My only problems with the design: I don't like the plain black piece under the doors. I think there should be some sort of vent or intake to take up the empty space. Above that, there needs to be a trim piece along the doors. That area also looks too empty.
Lastly, the side intakes on the front bumper don't look good as mesh. They need to match the front grilles.

This model is out standing just like all of your Garvil cars and models. But I was curious about the exhaust tips, will they be that size and shape or will they be bigger and shaped like some of your other Garvil cars like the MV4 series?

Just whipped up a coupe. It'll be called the GV3. For those who haven't caught on yet, my numbering system is just the number of doors. Since this is a hatchback it has one extra door.

I figured out a clever way of giving them all different badging (all 8 versions planned so far) without using more than one texture map, observe (may be hard to read due to the forum's image resizing, but one car says GV3S and one says GV5S)

Gave the GV3/GV5S bars and a fog light for the corner grilles:

For comparison, a base model GV3:

I might give the base model some cheap looking black trim along the side.

Windows aren't textured yet, the part where it overlaps is going to be black and opaque. That said, there's not much I can do about how the windows tint the interior. The texture is solid black, all I can control is opacity and reflectivity.

I've been working on the mesh on and off for the past couple of months, mostly just refining the design. The node/beam was quick, it's just the MV4 n/b with nodes moved around to fit the GV5's shape (and lightened)

Very nice car, that body styling is amazing lol. I love it. But for the rally version, you should do a rally-style exhaust, like straightpiped and turbo like real rallycars.

    Thumbs up Re: Gavril GV

You could badassify the side of the car with just a single line.
    Something like this: http://img840.imageshack.us/img840/6999/t10n.jpg
    Or upside down version: http://storage0.dms.mpinteractiv.ro/...002-mini2l.jpg
Kinda totally vote my version (not because it's mine), but it's matching the front and rear of the car quite nicely.
