At my work I can drill upto 48mm, and it will still go like a hot knife trough butter, and of course if I want bigger holes I can mill it.
Well the reason it took me 2 hours is because it was very hard steel and i didn't want to over heat/wreck my drill press. It was getting a little hot, so i would drill for 15 mins and then let it cool down.

Here we use some sort of oil mixed with water as coolant, and ofcourse good drills.
That tiny hole you made in that little piece odf material is nothing compared to what I encounter on a daily base :P .

On a small sidenote, how the hell do you attach a trailer to it? Here we use a simple ballhitch for car trailers.

I also used a little cutting oil, but this hitch is for pulling other vehicles that are stuck or i need to get pulled out myself. If i need to pull my boat or my car hauler trailer i just slide this hitch out and put my hitch that has a 2 inch ball in, i keep it in my toolbox!

    Yeah I was gonna say.

I used to drill through heat treated double frames in about 5 min with a 20 year old sketchy as fuck mag press. With Canadian Tire drill bits. With honey goo as lubricant. When I was in highschool.

If you're a full fledged mechanic and it took you two hours, thats just sad.

I didn't want to wreck my bench top drill press so i was going easy on it because i was drilling hard and the motor keeped getting a little hot. I could have brought it to work and drilled through it in 5 mins, but i was using the resources at my house. It was a spur of the moment project.

You aren't gunna wreck your drill press. Electric motors get hot, it's what they do. It's called energy transfer. It can't put the energy into the bit so it get's hot. I wouldn't expect you to know that because I see what Cat students are taught. Usually thry stand around, play with themselves, kick tires and check oil. The really sad part is you were only making the hole bigger. Not like you had to punch through it.

What I want to know is how a large, orange shackle is there for "looks." Until now, when people told me they were doing something for the looks of it, it was a good look they were going for.

HA HA YES! all of my this!

Seriously, you can buy "hitches" with a single 10,000 lb shackle already on it, and it doesn't look like shit.

I never understood your fetish with a) fucking with what was once a nice truck and b) putting orange parts on a burgandy truck.

Im not sure why i'm even a member here. Telling me that a drill press won't burn up, i've seen it. I also posted this on silveradosierra.com and everybody says "good job" and "how they want me to make them one". I post here and its a bunch of kids and their moms telling me on a gaming forum how to drill with a drill press. Whats wrong with using a shackle to pull people out?

    Sorry we aren't homosexuals?

Also, age =/= experience. If I had a nickel for every time i had to do someone else's job because they were incompetent, and 20+ years older than me. Mechanics, forklift drivers, crane operators, you name it.

Nothing wrong with using a shackle. Little gay orange ones that scream "i love dick" though....

Saturday night I thought it was a submarine at the mudhole and sunk it up to my windows. So I spent yesterday cleaning all the mud and water out of my intake, changed the starter, took out and cleaned the radiator, and washed some of the mud out of the engine bay. now today I gotta figure out why my starter won't turn over from the key, even though it did literally 5 minutes before I put the starter on, Damn Dodges.

The best part is, his truck could pull you gay ranger around like a hot wheels car. So chill the fuck out and worry about your mpg.
Obviously a fullsize is more powerful than a mini truck. Also, ranger MPG is shit...

Yet his Sierra and his Peterbilt would drag it around.

First of all, i've probably gotten more road head from hotter chicks in my "gay" ranger than you could even dream of. Bitches don't care what you drive. The ones that do probably have the herp anyways.

Wait, his 5,000 lb 270 hp truck could drag my 3,000 lb 143 hp? I'm gonna have to check your math on that...

I bought my truck brand new when I was 19. For the same money I could've gotten a 1998 Ram 2500 Cummins, but unlike some people, i'm not sad about my small penis and try to compensate with a big truck. Instead I roll around getting 28mpg city and 34 mpg highway while paying fuck all for insurance and maintenance.

And the money I saved from not driving a big douchey fuel guzzler? That went to paying for my '05 Pete, which could not only drag around MrMechanic's and everyone else's truck on this forum without locking the diffs, but also that double wide trailer you call home. (for the record, not hating on full-sizes; just people who think you need a V8 and 4x4 to commute to work)

So shut your fucking mouth, as you clearly know fuck all. And try to have some respect for those superior to you, kid.

I get some time off, check in on RoR, a shitstrom.

Took it to work, Bojangles, oil change, back to work because I "didn't restock the iTunes cards."
