the way i copied the colors over like chrome for example if it wasn't available on the part i was working on i would just copy the whole part like a wheel that has chrome on it to a part that doesn't have chrome on it like the body colored bumper for example.

since your using the t800 wheel file just hit the home button like in the pic i posted and that will give you the colors used in the model

you don't have to keep the part you copy in there. just delete it and the colors will stay.

guess he doesn't like the chrome. without it some of the objects look flat and loose the dimensional look

you must have missed the first page where it said not to ask.

with the truck pictured on the first page you just need to re-size the front wheel to match the ones you put on. looks like it is still setup for the wide wheels i has on.

also one suggestion would be to move the front wheels more towards the outside instead of having them so close to the frame rail.

also if you want i have the rear axle setup that i made black and chromed the drive shaft and diff cover. this is on the version i have been using

by default said parts(exhaust and grill) in the files from Bigboy are already chromed but they show up grey in sketchup
