    Default Escape From Sahara

    I have been working on it for some time, i believe im at a stage to add some photo's if you run it on full settings, fps is low but you dont get quality with high fps anyway so no complaining. and you can adjust the vegetation levels in the config, i would like to thank LFJ-Hutch and DeGa for the help with adding the trees and LfJ Hutch for the trees themselves.

    Dont ask for a release date. or how long...

    removed the unwanted grass from the road leading up to the forest and in the forest

    Is it going to have sand traps where half the vehicle sinks in sand and you have to get a crane or tow truck to get your car out?

    What program you useed for Heighmap? Autogenerated in L3DT or handmade in some editing program?

    It would be nice to see some variation in the textures/vegetation. The endless tiling of textures looks a bit odd and can be a bit boring to be honest. Have you though of optimizing it by perhaps removing trees that are off the main roads, rather than extremely dense trees/shrubs everywhere? 12FPS really is not a great framerate.
    It does look pretty good, but perhaps a bit rough around the edges-- as a W.I.P should be.
    projects: fiat (redoing the mesh) volvo (interior NB and varients left) Kart (mesh placement left)
    and some other odds and ends that i dont remember.

    well there is a lot of variation of the grass and trees not so much, but they are closely coloured as in a desert you dont have differnet types of colours, cactuses are green some of them are yellow, but the grass is all yellow as far as im aware, i can show you more detailed pictures of the grass, but the trees are off the road and they always grow in groups, there not thick there are about 4 trees per group or more, some pictures soon to show you

    Looks very nice I like the sand texture you added. It looks amazing Looks just like sahara.
    I would suggest you let big areas of no vegetation, in other words add vegetation on small areas that could be like oasis. Except you don't want the map to refer to the heart of sahara.
