    Default UNIMOG 406

    UNIMOG 406

    Been a long time in the works. Finally came to a spot I want to release it. No opening doors or dump bed, didn't wanna fuss with that stuff since I never use them. It has detail where it counts I think, in the suspension parts, texture work, damage, etc. Has a rear hitch for towing. Hope you like it.

    -If your tires spawn crooked (don't use the truckshop, spawn it using the drop down menu in the upper left of the screen)

    Disclaimer:
    -mods for personal use ok, but don't ask to release your super engine power lift kit mod, or to use the rims/tires on your vehicle to showoff, it ain't gonna happen, yo.

    This doesn't mean flood skins all over, but it makes it way better since you can change just the base color without screwing it up, or add new layers etc.

    If you do make a skin, don't upload it to the repo, just post them in the mods/skins section of the forum, thanks.

    I'm pretty proud of the fact it uses the real node/beams for the torque tube setup they have. I used a slide node on the "driveshaft" beam to act as the torque tube mount, so only 3 beams locate each axle. The steering also uses the correct linkage, I had to cheat a little in the fact that the steering box arm is stationary, it wasn't reliable enough when it moved (the mesh still moves for visual though )

    What map? I've heard that happen before, but I could never make it happen, so I couldn't "fix" it, seems like a problem with the code somewhere.

    Any map with a rotated truck shop does this(to a FBW vehicle). You just need to spawn it from the menu and you'll be fine. Only one that I know has a rotated truck shop is Belgium.

    yeah for anyone that has the wheels bent there is a very simple fix, dont spawn it in the garage, use the dropdown menu bit and select it from there.

    1 last question (I think) Are their any .PDN files with the seperate layers for the textures? It would be nice to be able to do changes but without wrecking the worn out look of the paint

    actually there is an elephant in RoR (the 4x4 thing by fidoj has one). This unimog feels like something is going on when you drive it. It feels and acts like a real unimog. Tis amazing. The only problem is that the front wheels flex through the fender quite often
