    Default Bombardier ALP-45DP

    Hey,
You might already have seen this in the development screenshots thread.
    I have modeled the dual-powered ALP-45 locomotive.
Here are some information about the real thing:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ALP-45DP
I already have a N/B, too, so I thought to start a thread on this
However, my N/B does work but not as good as I wish... I asked Lifter and let's see if he has time and wants to help me out a bit.
Here are some screenshots of my model and the current N/B (couplers and pantograph do not work...).
Now I'm working on the interior mesh and obviously N/B.
Hope to see some more trains in RoR

That's nice, with trains we will get one more vehicle type for ROR

BTW, what rail system do you use?

Sweet double header! Do you think track signals could eventually be scripted to work, if train development continues?

Norfolk Southern- One line, Infinite possibilities.

    Update:
    - placed more meshes:
    > fully animated bogies (suspension etc.)
    > animated fans on roof
    > animated brakes
    - made some modular tracks:
    > can be layed just like a road with editor, simply rename "road" to "48b4aUID-10mstraight"
    > releasing them here: Feel free to add a nice train track to whatever terrain you want (we need some terrains with tracks! )
    > make sure not to make corners too sharp, otherwise trains might derail
    > other track parts like bridges and switches will be added later on

Looking great! You never seis to amaze!

Scania, I hope you know the train itself in not released he just released the tracks. Now if you are just asking in general how to put the train on the tracks when its released then I to am wondering the same!

    Thank you
It has a node in the middle so just give the coordinates of a track pices and it will exactly spawn on the tracks.

Looks good. Do the meshed rails work as good as slidenodes?

    Pantographs are working
    To do:
    - model cab and animated it
    - lights/flares
    - custom GUI
    - add some more sounds
