Yo dawg... I heard you like rear-ending, so we rear-end you, while you rear-end someone else, while he's rear-ending someone.

    Here's another one!

    Description:
    December 8th, 1991
    Aspen, Colorado
    15°F
    -9°C

It's the winter of the year 1991. To the days when Soviet Union had recently collapsed. When Freddie Mercury had passed away.

"Special News Report. Good evening, this is Sam Dread in New York, Across America News. Moments ago, a serial killer named Victor Hernandez escaped from the high-security prison in Denver, Colorado. Hernandez was sentenced to death for killing 21 people at the 1990 Colorado Massacre.
He stole a 1978 Burnside Off-Road parked nearby and police chased, but lost him. Tricia Takanawa is on the scene. Tricia?
-I am standing here at the Colorado State Prison where he escaped. The police is investigating and we'll soon make an interview with the corrections officer. Back to you Sam.
-Thanks Tricia. You're listening to Across America News, stay tuned."

Kat Otkinson, a 36 year-old lawyer, was driving home from a long day at work. She was about to turn left, when a massive off-roader smashed into her pickup's rear.
The "massive off-roader" was nothing more than the stolen Burnside driven by Victor Hernandez.
The Burnside rolled over several times, before stopping in the snow. The driver had escaped.
The police soon arrived with the ambulance and fire engine.
The ambulance left pretty quickly, because there was nothing to do there. Because the Burnside was leaking some gasoline, the firetruck was cleaning up that place for a pretty long time. Victor was caught around 10 miles ahead, because of an unsuccessful grand theft auto.
Victor was trying to steal a car, but the owner smacked him with a baseball bat.

    Injuries:

None. Well, Victor was executed 3 days later.

    Cars involved and damage:
1978 Burnside Off-Road -- Wasn't repaired. It still sits there. Badly damaged.
1985 Chevrolet S-10 -- The rear was repaired for $6799

This took me a day to make.

    Description:

    22nd June, 1985. Arizona.
    99°F
    37°C

Austin Reed, professionally known as Red Barn, was a 44 year-old trucker.
He earned that name because his cabover Pete looks exactly like a red barn.
He picked up a delivery from Albuquerque, New Mexico to Wichita, Kansas.
He crashed his truck in Arizona on the way there. He was checking out his air pressure gauge, because it was acting strange.
When he got his eyes on the road again, he saw a big coyote crossing the road. He steered away, and slammed on the brakes.
The truck flipper over, releasing the logs to the open road.
Erin Gayle (21) was driving behind that truck with her two friends, Alan Carr (23) and Ollie Williams (26), and when the truck crashed and flipped, she quickly turned away.
She smashed into a big log that had rolled on the road. She was doing 48 mp/h.
But that wasn't all. Curt Faust, a 34 year-old welder from Kentucky, crashed into a log too. Although smaller, the impact happened at 46 mp/h.

Ohh there was a lot of smoke. They couldn't get the CB in the Peterbilt, but Curt's pickup had a CB radio too. Emergency vehicles were called out.

    Injuries:
Austin Reed: Punctured lung, fractured ribs and whiplash
Erin Gayle: She had to be rushed to the hospital
Ollie Williams: Headache, neck pain, black eye
Alan Carr: Cuts and bruises + whiplash
Curt Faust: Nothing except a shock

    Cars involved and damage:
1980 Peterbilt 352 -- The side was damaged, also a portable TV flew into the windshield from the sleeper, making a crack.
1976 Burnside Wagon -- The front was very damaged. The carburetor and engine were damaged. The fan belt was broken.
1983 Chevrolet S-10 -- Again, the front was damaged. Nothing extreme though.

Yes, I know. I think it was 1994. But there weren't any good quality firetrucks from the 80's on RoR

    Near San Diego, California
    May 28th, 2003

    24°C

    11:48pm (23:48)
Sandra and Jonathan are a couple from Sweden who are on their way to Los Angeles for vacation.
They were driving on a lonely desert road, when suddenly it began to crumble and collapse.
The road was old and hashed because of strong wind, temperature fluctuation and heavy rain. Come on, it was built in 1964.
The caravan's right wheel slid off with the pavement, causing the caravan and the car to swerve into the ditch.
The car's front was still on the road.
Luckily, a used-car salesman named Travis saw it happening, and stopped.
Soon after, a Gavril MV4, driven by a 16 year-old Dave, collided with the Sandra's and Jonathan's Burnside.
Harry Thomson stopped his log truck.
Nothing was called out except two tow-trucks.

    None.

    1979 Burnside Wagon
    1991 Jeep Wagoneer

Crash Description: On February 22nd, 2008, public tests were going on at the N-labs Test Track. One man, George Walker, decided to come with his modified 2002 Gavril MV4R. He was testing his reflexes to see how close he could avoid the wall, but he didn't know one thing: The concrete was icy. His car slid into the concrete wall at around 110 MPH and spun to a stop. Public tests were cancelled and the place has been abandoned since.

Parts of Car Critically Damaged: All right side, engine

Estimated Repair Cost and/or Car Totaled: Totaled

Injuries (If Any): George died on impact. He thought he wouldn't crash, so he left his seatbelt off, so the airbags did not deploy.
