Ummm what's different about this compared to the other 20 mods to that bus?

What exactly makes it a 2012?

This is different because I tried to keep it realistic and I included multiple different versions. I am not exactly sure what makes it a 2012, but I just chose to use the current model year.

I just don't think this is different than the original CE300... I parked them right next to each other, there's really not a difference except for the skin...

I don't see why people need to keep on skinning and skinning the same bus that Bonehead or whoever made how long ago? and calling it a brand new bus.

All this is, is a mod to the skin for different states' specs. Nothing new here, IMO.

no one cares about your cruddy re skinned bus. it is just the same bus with different grill and headlights then you call it a ''new'' bus

I wouldn't exactly go and say it that way... But I guess I agree. It sort of does get annoying seeing so many mods of that bus. It's getting a little outdated...

The bus comes with different mirror options in real life. There is a standard mirror design and than optional designs. I doubt they changed year to year.

Bonhead created the very first school bus ever in RoR. He also made the original CE300. Then someone (Forget his name) made a 72 passenger version. Then Graysonk made a revamp of that version adding many things. I am not calling it brand new.

The poll is refering to how good of a job you think I did with the skins not the bus it self. I did not change features on the bus, only the skin.

Khadner, no offense, but your skin are just as bland as the same as the others. I mean none of them really stand out from each other... Maybe to someone that knows every little thing about school buses, but to me, I can't see any difference.

One of the buses is white with blue, another is yellow with green and you are telling me they look the same? Obviously you did not look close enough :|

Yes this is true. Yes there are allot of mods so I decided that instead of making the bus a different bus, I will keep it as a CE300 and just make nice new skins. If you have a problem with it than too bad.

I could really care less what color they are. The basic paint job of the buses are the same... I just really find it annoying when people re-skin that bus, change the color of a few things, make the lettering a different town, and call it "new". If someone took the time to maybe improve the wheels, suspension, chassis, flaring, skin, (if needed) and whatever needed to be fixed, and called it like a re-vamp, that'd be a little different.

They're all the same thing, with a different grille and rear photo. Maybe even sounds. Usually, theres a submesh issue, and nobody bothers to fix it, so the grille looks so distorted you can't tell what it is. Oh and yeah some are shorter than others...

What can you do differently with the skin? It is the same bus for all the skins and there are certain laws regulating school buses. For example, they have to have the rub rails on the side and all school buses have to be school bus yellow. The white one is an activity bus so it is allowed to be white. What is there to change with the flaring? I would fix the submesh issue, but I do not know how to do this. What is wrong with the chassis beside the size of it? What is wrong with the suspension?


@All: Again, keep in mind that this is just a reskin and I am not trying to put it off as anything else. So I gave it a new name, is that a problem? Do not vote that this is terrible because you hate school buses, please only vote on the quality and realism of the skins. I can provide pictures of how buses with each paint job look in real life if you want.
