Flatsville County by Brickman

Yet another version of the Flatmap terrain. This time it is a mod of DNEs flatmap with his roads. (So I can have something to start with to mod the map).

This is Flatsville county. A small county with about a population of 1000. Low taxes make this a good place to start a business. All kinds of jobs are available here from a bus driver, truck driver, lawyer, farmer, teacher, pilot, crane operators and so much more.

Known bugs: Some buildings have no collision like the logging mill, your tires will get stuck in the middle of the police parking lot, and some lag when you look across the map. I might make the grass darker before I release. it looks too bright

There are multiple places you can spawn at.( change the spawning place by changing the .terrn file.
Construction yard, airport, race track, and town.

Credits and help:

Donoteat: for the terrain mod, Penguinville buildings and other content that is available on the repo..
Box5diesel: for some BakerRanch buildings.
Maddogtowing: for the request
AndrewB: for the speedlimit signs
Brickman: for putting it all together

It will be released soon. Someone is working on street signs, but I disagree so much that they must do it themselves

Add this file too the flatsville.zip and regen cache

I '//' out the extra loads and trucks too. You can delete the "//" if you want in the terrn file.

got a problem
lags with directx badly
but loads with opengl then this in opengl

not just that map it happens on penguinville to but it lags with direct x but i get the error with opengl

Its a great looking map but, it lags bad with any high detailed car like gabes mz2r

I'm just wondering, how did I get in the repo description for credits and not here?

Try deleting some or all of the sketchup buildings like brickburger, the fire department etc. I drop 15 FPS when looking at the town by the airport.

looks great brickman, if its like the Rockton map its gonna be the next best map.

when i spawn a vehicle it brings me to 1 fps horrible horrible fps killer

I will look into the problems. Perhaps I should test this map on my old laptop.

I cant work on my map until my new mouse comes in. My copperhead got the left click fever lol

So far the suspects of lag is the wheat grass and my sketchup buildings.
