Hp photosmart C4650 Max OSX 10.4 printing code, not images.

I have an HP Photosmart C4650 connected to wirelessly. It is connected to a Mac OSX 10.4 via USB and a wireless router. I have printed from my Pc to the printer fine. But when trying to print from the Mac the printer is printing code, not images, or anything from Adobe Indesign.
This is what it is printing:

%apl_dsc_encoding: utf8

Then it cuts off the edge of the page.

I have reinstalled the driver software, and an not sure what is wrong. What do I do to fix this?

Hello i am new here.
This is my first post.

I dont have a mac but one of my friends with a mac had a similer problem.
The problem is that the printer thought the incoming job was HP's Printer Control Language (PCL) rather than Adobe Postscript.

To fix the problem go into you printer settings and change...
JOB / PERSONALTY=PCL to: JOB / PERSONALTY=AUTO
That should fix the problem.

Are you getting any Error from the OS?
If that does not work then try resetting your printer.

The first line of code is telling the printer that "active" is the "%!PS-Adobe-3.0". Here the "%!" as the first characters arriving at the printer are interpreted as a "Here comes a PostScript job, send the following lines to the Postscript interpreter".
The "PS-Abobe-3.0" parts are to help print spoolers (and other programs) recognize what level Postscript code follows.
The Rest % are comments >"I think."

Try changing the settings as i said above.
