    Default Extinct cars

Let's compile a list of cars you no longer see or hear about. You know, the grade A crapmobiles, the cars that just don't get enough love, or the car that is just downright uncommon.

The Chrysler New Yorker, It talked and look at that 80's electronic dash
I heard it isn't reliable and I never seen one around except youtube and pictures

VW golf harlequin. being a 1 in 264 in the world, it is VERY uncommon you will ever see one of these.

I got one of these driving around here infact i used to know the owner quite well.
But there are more uncommon cars, like the Bugatti Type 51.

    Peace.

Most all of them are registered in the southeast like florida and georgia, I wouldnt doubt that youve seen one. just because of where you are. Ours is currently the only one registered in our state.

I remember the owner having it bought in cologne from an Importer, he was frickn proud to have it. Tho its still a golf. Its still driving around in the city 20miles out from here.
Believe me it is a harlequin... Tho i require glasses for driving i can trust my eyes even without them

    Peace.

I used to see one of those everyday, because someone around my area has (or had? Haven't seen it for quite some time now) one. I assumed that someone had deliberately had each panel painted a different colour just as a joke. Didn't know it was a special car you bought like that.

It's a bit of a long shot, but I read that there are no surviving examples of the Alfa Romeo 'Romeo' van with the original diesel engine. A pity as the engine was seriously weird, a supercharged 1130cc two-stroke twin.

There are only reckoned to be 60-100 examples of the van surviving, either with Alfa twin-cam petrol, or Perkins diesel power.

    I believe this is it.

Haha I saw one of these not so much time ago...But the silencer was completely covered by rust and some hole. The sound was something strange, like a tractor or a moped without exhaust It was driven by a farmer...

Agreed. I can actually see Volkswagen making a nice MKVI Golf Cross Country with a silver skidplate and whatnot.

Another extinct car: VW Phaeton. I remember getting excited when seeing one because it was one of VW's first fullsize luxury vehicles. Now I never seen one again.

You're probably mistaking that for the passat. You NEVER see phaetons.
