Awesome Job on this vehicle. All of the attachments were really nice!
[English part]
Manitou MLT 731 telehandler
Having game crashing issue? try this patch (caution: outdated 1.1 version)
Want to create your own attachment? Download this
Requires: 0.36.3 (mirrors disabled over 0.38.17)
- two section boom (slide nodes)
- locking differential
- custom sounds (thanks to Gabriel for the engine sound)
- custom torque curve
- working dash
- trailer hook
- no flexbody tires (run better without)
- ambiant occlusion texturing
- build with blender
Version 1.2
- Skin selection menu removed (download skin pack instead)
- New torque curve
- Flares added
- Working lights/beacon added (Ctrl-1)
- New Manitou winch version
- 2 Counterweight loads
Available skins:
Bobcat
JCB
John Deere
Kubota
Manitou
Merlo
It's my second vehicle for RoR and Marlou third.
We both worked on the beam chassis and then I made the mesh (except tire and bucket, those are from Marlou) and I took the lead to finish it.
What's included in the pack is;
- Manitou telehandler with coupling for attachment
- Manitou telehandler with truss boom
- Manitou telehandler with winch
- Bucket attachment
- Forklift attachment
- Counterweight loads
I also include, in this post, a .load file for people who wants to make attachment for the Manitou.
The required nodes are already in place to make perfect fit with the Manitou locking mecanism, you can start building from those nodes.
Follow the instruction in the .load for more detail.
Important thing, if the attachment is bouncing up and down, it's not locked correctly. There're 6 ties for the attachment, 4 that grab the attachment and 2 that lock the damper to the boom of the truck. Those 2 nodes are very important and should be locked.

She's a beauty! its nice to have a finished telehandler.
I start making plow tomorrow, but I'm just asking that when I'm done with N/B of plow, could you mesh it?
On meantime, I tested it with heavy and rusty tanker.
It can tow it really nicely, even tough uphill was really hard, even with diffs, but it's called realism.

you should add work lights to it for at night

I tried to make it fun to drive and not overpowered with so much torque you can't stop it, I put little torque but I tweak the curve to give a huge torque boost for the commands, between 750-900 RPM. That's why the torque curve look weird too

Wow, very nice model, great look, good functionality,
the attachments work nice, perfectly done.
The size seems just right to me, very compact and still a lot of reach height.
Think before you post!
Truck_Description_File ^ what you need for modding
Great work, I like how the attachment system works, and how strong they are!
Some of those attachments posted a few posts ahead seem feasible for me to make, node and beam wise.
And a token of my appreciation:

Didn't you just ask that and reply to the post in a different thread?

they clearly said that you have to update your RoR versionOriginally Posted by Cummins Mastermind
o ok thanks that was not that hard was it.

Like I said slidenodes are not working well with your game. The boom on my Manitou and on box5 wrecker, the tracks on the ripsaw, all works with slidenodes. A clean install of RoR 0.36.3 should fix this problem
@Sushi: this photo is amazing, thanks
