ok, do i need to redo my time when i have 0.36.2?

if you want, i may re run mine with a different truck since everbody is using the Autocar, i wanted a little variety in the field.

there is only one problem with races in mp.

When 0.36 first came out a bunch of the guys in chat all raced the K100's. Sweetman and I were always in 1st or second place.We both have pretty good computers. Where Bjytech was always lower placed when we raced. So the better fps you get the more it influences who wins.

i like the skins, but i was going to use the oval track, not gp long.

ok I'll re-qualify with 53 seconds but with the K100 since it has one of the best interior of all semi so it make a better onboard video.

I'm still not sure which version I will use, I thinked the flat top full fender but as you can see in the video we don't see anything at the front when turning because of the thing(don't know how its called in english)

edit: I will use the workhorse version, the thing is smaller

a) wait for proper MP races
b) everything under 25 FPS will be slower than possible -> below 25 FPS = you are slower than anyone else
c) use free camera mode (SHIFT+C)
d) adjust FOV with numpad 7

yeah its shaky when its getting set up but once its up it's fine

And with the camera positions
put one multitel in the middle so the person filming can film the hole race just spin round
and place the 4 others on each corner so they get good corner shots and some jeeps going round aswell
and by the way i think we should set up some crashes on the corners like say if someone went flying off the track.
ill try make a map like Andrew did later on to explain what i ment

and by the way shadow maybe once we have done the race on the oval track then do one on gp long

I did and its not bad at all, plus IMO its much more fun and challenging to race on a track than on an oval, and its longer

how? if you have a decent line you can keep it at WOT the whole track except the last very sharp turn without crashing, maybe it have something to do with the new traction code

it was an ID10T error

at the time i had never really put much time into road racing skills in RoR.

@yaris: 2.01 not bad
@shadow: i took some screens of where to put the multitel on the oval track (obviously same on each corner) and made a like logo thing (needs some like writing or something)
edit: i think it would be cool if we did a race round gp-long just as a laugh if we do then i might enter....beter get some practice lol XD

that will work, but we need a eye in the sky, and i can't fly well so who will do it

Just keep to ground units because it will be to complicated unless lifter wants to do it

for the gp long race, you can tune your trucks, AS LONG as they are realistic and not too out there.

@sharky: the chinook wont exactly be the most econimical chopper to cover the race with and we dont have anything else, so ground cams will work.

@andrew23: yeah, maybe a wrecker or 2, and a fire truck.
