    what's your occupation?

I work in an airsoft shop in the stock room and repair guns.If we are short on staff, like this week where half of our staff have left for a 3 day MILSIM across the country.Legally,I'm allowed to work full time on weekends, but since we aren't open on sundays,I just take home the guns I have to fix and get paid for themlater on.I can work full time when the school term is over, like next week during the mid term break.Imusually earn about 20-25 euro just working in the stock room, but I earn a good bit extra if I fix guns and help with sales.

    Weekend update:

Friday: Loaded, cleaned the Pete, hung out with the girlfriend, dropped her off at work then went out with some other girls for one of their birthdays. Got shittered.

Saturday: Did some paperwork, hung out with my bid and helped him prep for his Halloween themed party, went to gfs, went to party, punched out some kid who was talking shit about me to my girlfriend while I was literally 2 feet away, gf got pissed off, we bailed, talked abou our feelings, got a blowie, went to bed.

And today I discussed purchasing and new truck with my dad and then went to work. Gonna look into ordering a 2013 Pete 386 with a Paccar engine.
    Be more specific, please.

I'm weary of any engine that needs hog piss to run, but apparently the fuel mileage is good, and they're more reliable than the previous generation of cummins motors.

    Wish I could just run a 425 3406B in a 362 -_-'

My wallet. 5 mpg or 9 mpg? 4 mpg is like an extra $60,000 a year in fuel. Shits pricey.

Yup. I'd rather drive a slope nosed Pete and have money to buy an STi or Bimmer than drive a guzzler and just burn money. Bitches love fast cars. They dont know shit about trucks. The only people that would get turned on by a hot rod pete are gay Swift drivers.

Currently watching a live feed of Times Square through EarthCam. Pretty deserted although surprisingly people are still around during the buildup to hurricaine Sandy.

went to the gas station this morning (RIGHT as the hurricane hit) to get gas, almost got rear ended by some jackass who has no respect for anyone, filled up my car, came home, and watched the trampoline get destroyed by the high winds

and i'm surprised the power hasn't gone out yet

I got up, Ate some breakfast, took a little drive to get some culvert pipe we need for a job, went and dropped the pipe off and used some copper to find the two waterlines in the road... came home, Pulled our Red Mack around front, aired up the tires, put the batteries on the charger, and then came in because it was getting dark lol

I've been watching it all day. Or at least had it up all day.

But the hurricane isn't/won't hit there that hard. You should have seen the feed during Irene, there was like 20 people there at the same time max.

I know it isn't going to be hit full force, but it's being considerably affected. The MTA has shut down, the subway systems and Grand Central are closed for the second time in history, and the city is pretty much empty in terms of traffic. Also, a high-rise crane has collapsed, Brooklyn Bridge is closed (I think), and if the eye of the hurricaine passes anywhere near the city I can't even think of the damage it'll do to the unfinished World Trade Center or its construction apparatus. Either way it's going to be some considerably expensive damage.

if you want better mpg, why not get a Kenworth T600?

The truck design doesn't effect the mpg that much, its usually all about whats under the hood. Our grey Superliner gets around 8 and it's about as aerodynamic as a brick wall.
And I don't think a T600 is that much, if any, more aerodynamic than a Peterbilt 386, and they both have basically the same drive line.

yeah I always thought the T600 had an advantage in gas mileage due to its aerodynamic design & narrow cab
