I guess the R8 used wide sports tires (-->less pressure per cm²) which couldn't displace the water as well as the narrow tires on the dodge that additionally have deeper treads. Semislicks are of no use in rainy conditions

he was using the standard tires that come with the R8 .... they were fairly worn out though since he has had those tires since he bought the car and decided to take the car to the track to really kill the tires before changing them

Serviced an MP7 equipped Granite. Found out the other Mack I've been working on is STILL getting fuel in the oil from somewhere. And replaced leaf pad's on on of our Red Rivers

I got my Mitsubishi MT372 Diesel Tractor going again, all I need to do is try to free the clutch up a little and find a right sized battery for it, (I have a car battery in it now)

Put a 6.5:1 transfer case in my 87 Samurai. I have a new cradle ordered for it, but they are 12 weeks out. Now I have to baby it until then or risk bent/broken t-case mounts. The low range on the new case is killer though.

Today I finished reinforcing the chicken coop, so no bears can smash through it. I also installed some pad locks for it, so no idiots can get in.

Bought a new bike helmet today. Hopefully I'll decide to get back into mountain biking.

i was going up 6:am eating breakfast
was riding my mountainbike to work (10 km in 15 minutes)
is working
is going to swim in a public swimming pool
and then riding home again to my dear family
i feel very lucky that my life is real good

just another day in my life
