    Post Picture of your ride.

Post a picture of your ride!

Don't have any to post for myself yet but when I turn 16 I'm probably getting my dads 1996 land rover disco.

So this isn't a thread about what our parents or friends drive.... lets try to keep on topic for once in our lives.

well, this is what I'm driving for now. the Ford dealer wanted the FX4 back so whatever. it's a Silverado 1/2 ton Extended cab and my dad (my boss) bought it for a superintendent who took a car allowance (using your own vehicle for your work vehicle) on his Foose F150. so it was just sitting there wasting away so i kindly asked to use it until Ford does something with my truck. it's nice actually, it's the LT (i think, never really checked) with a 5.3 Ethanol V8. (i think that's the only engine you can get flexfuel on, anyway it has a FlexFuel badge so yeah).
stereo sucks, meh. nothing like the Sony in the Fords. the head unit is nice though.

Jeepster, is that your 2004 GMC Sierra in the background?

Yeah. 5.3, auto, 4x4 and z71 suspension with limited slip rear.

It's a good truck, but I'm not partial to it. Wanders all over the road, and the quality isn't great either. The rear axle was out of alignment from factory, the foglight was hanging by the wires from factory, and some other stupid things that should not have let it past quality control.

There is a reason Ford hasn't needed government allowance yet...

well, it could be many reasons. they only have 2 brands (i dunno if they dropped mercury yet), their quality control is significantly better (my uncle's '04 F150 only had a spark plug problem and that was a recall), their overall value of the vehicles are better (no offence to the big Chrysler guys but if you bought a basic Dodge of Chrysler vehicle, all you got was nasty grey neutral interiors, no class, no flare, no passion, no power, and quality problems over the top.) the problem with the American companies is the way they are run. all of the Japanese brands are all owner run non union businesses, and look what they've got. they have more money than the States brands could think of possibly reaching. and THEY ARE ONE BRAND PER COMPANY. that's just my opinion. but let's not get offtopic.

nice truck, to conclude. i think the Z71 rides better than the 4x4 models. the white Chevy i'm using has a locker at the back so that's cool.

hate to tell you this but..

Toyota: also is Lexus and Scion, partner with GM

Honda : also is Acura, is the broadest company making everything from lawn mowers to IRL cars

Subaru : only one by itself, owned by Fuji industries

    Mitsubishi: alone, partnered with Dodge

    Mazda: alone, partnered with Ford

    Nissan: is also Infinity

also technically Toyota is now an American company since they moved their headquarters here a few years ago.

i have a volvo 480 2.0i es (renault engine and transmission) 110pk and 180nm is more than i needed.

it is mayby not the greatest car but i have bought it whit a lot of discount.
my boss thit want to sell this car, but when i had interest i can get for alot less. so the car is in almost perfect condition.
and that whit everything on it, airco, central door lock system, abs, electric windows, electric changeable side mirrors. and alot more.

the only thing i have done whit it is a wood plate in the back whit to 6*9 speakers and a friend of my had a old actieve subwoofer that i have placed under the wood plate.
there whas 30cm of room and the subwoofer is 27cm, so that whas nice.

My Alfa Romeo Giulia GT, or Bertone as it is mostly referred to in Europe. Obviously not my daily driver but strictly a weekend toy. It's not a show car, it's purpose in life is to drive fast and scream like a P51 Mustang fighter plane. The last part is probably because the exhaust is mostly a straight pipe.

Like a typical old-school European sports car it is light, has a 150hp 4 cylinder engine, rear wheel drive and a short 5-speed gearbox. Max speed is 180km/h at redline in 5th, but you get there pretty fast
