Is that the one where you broke one of the blades, and because it was off balance the fan destroyed itself? Or am I thinking of something else?

Well, I didn't break one of the blades, it fell apart on it's own when I started to run it at 100%, then it took out 7 other fins on that fan alone, which was so off balance it took out the other fan too, just that one is still usable (barely any vibration). Just took the main damaged one out and replaced it with a sickle (which sucks ass, 48C idle).

Bare in mind it's got 8GB RAM in the slots right next to the CPU.

Currently the stock cooler is pretty close to the RAM and it looks a lot smaller than the one I want to get.

So any help would be appreciated.

You should have no problem with RAM clearance. If you dont have really tall RAM heatsinks?
The heat pipes look tall, so even if the fan goes on top the RAM, it is ok, but the heatsink looks thin, so no problems.

1. Don't get a Sabertooth, it's overpriced and if it somehow dies you'll be out of a PC for a month.
2. Downgrade to a 3570k instead of a 3770k.
3. Get an MSI 660ti PE and OC the snot out of it, they don't overclock as much as before but still come close to a 670.

And the computer would only allow a low profile card? I would try the low profile 6000 or even the 7000 series. The 5000 is really obsolete.

I'd put it at about 2.5-3 times more powerful than the terrible 5450(http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/vi...GT+630&id=1431 , http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/vi...n+HD+5450&id=7). When it comes to GPUs, you generally get more bang for your buck up to about 250-300USD then the bang for your buck starts to drop off, so when it comes to low end cards the more money you spend the more performance you get for your money, as you can see here, the 630 is twice the price of the 5450, but has 2-3 times the performance.

Pretty much every PCIe GPU will fit in that mobo. Other things you need to consider are mechanical compatibility/sizes and power requirements. If you can give info on your case/PSU/budget then we can help narrow some cards down for you.

(I also just realized I had one of those H61 motherboards for about a day, it died from my PSU, and I currently have one that is basically the same, just re-branded as Gigabyte. If you have high profile RAM, you'll need to move the fan on the 212 up a bit (I have a 212 too :3) since any fan will cover the front RAM slot. Those motherboards are good bang for the buck, I must say, just I don't like the aesthetics of everything being crammed in. :P )

Well, if we assumed you had a 2500k and you actually had a Celeron G440 and we recommended a card that was super high end... yeah.

As for a card recomendation, I'm gonna say go for the Radeon 7870. I think it has great performance for your pound at around the £190 mark. You also get free games and stuff, if that matters. Judging by the case dimensions I'm gonna say its a standard uATX case, but I can't tell for sure without model numbers. The card should fit in the case. You will also need a new PSU, a decent 500W unit will be fine for that system.

Also apparently my motherboard is PCIe 2.0x16 if that makes any difference.
