Or something similar. Sorry for the .de, currently I'm living in Germany. I'm just going to be doing some MS Office work on my laptop, and when I'm on a trip, I can do some on the go Gaming with the GT650M built in.
I have the big brother to that one, and the GE60 looks right for what you want. BEWARE, it is a mid range gaming laptop, it will have bad battery life.

Yeah, I usually game on my laptop while connected to power, but I'm not that worried about battery life anyways, I'm not going to be working on a bus or something

EDIT: by the way, do you know if the 4GB i5 version of the GE-60 uses the 2x2 GB or 1X4GB RAM? and also do you know how many DIMM slots there are on the computer? because I think I won't need the i7's performance on my laptop as much as my gaming desktop, but the RAM is a bit worrying for me.

Not worried much about the Microsoft word or the Home Premium OS.

Could someone help me with my sound driver? I can't install them on my PC. It's a VIA sound chip. I had to install XP cause I got a virus on my old install.

Thanks, but the config is more than enough for my needs, I just got another 580 for my rig, so that'll still be just my gaming rig, and laptop more of a casual work computer. Also, I'm currently living in Germany, so :/

Yeah, I heard that. Still heavy as Hell, though. Another thing, when it comes down to 'gaming' laptops, the batteries last such a short time they're probably there because it's classified as a mobile computer.

    It's also on anything white/gray.

    My specs are:
AMD Phenom II x4 2.8 ghz
Nvidia GTX 560 ti (all drivers are up to date)
    4 gb ram
    1 tb hard drive

    Monitor:
LG Flatron w2040t using dvi connection.

I can reboot and it gets rid of it maybe 15 minutes.

The graphics card is running at 48c.

Also here is some new pics that hopefully you can see the yellow.
    I'm still having this problem.
    I've tried a different monitor.

This is what minecraft looks like on it.

Judging by the fact that it's still happening on a second monitor and the fact that it shows up on screenshots, I'm willing to bet that your graphics card is starting to die.

What hardware are you gonna run with that power supply? A 850W PSU is most likely overkill for most users and hardware configurations.

    Lets see:
    95W CPU
    20W Chipset
    200W GPU
100W other stuff (eventually more if you own many hard drives, disk drives, fans, ...)
    ----------
    ~415W

If you don't plan on running two graphics cards, about 500W should be enough, but with SLI, you'll need a more powerful PSU, lets say +700W.
The OCZ GameXStream series is a bit outdated, newer models should work better.

Always good to have excess, also more efficient too. A 1500W PSU is going to run much more efficiently than a 850W PSU if you're using 800W and so on. I'm thinking of getting a 1000/1200W PSU since I'm running 2 580's in SLI.

That's not completely right. In fact, PSUs work most efficient at about half to 2/3 load, but the efficiency is quite bad at low loads. Because of your computer will run at idle most of the time, you should use a PSU that's close to your needs.
But yes, two 580's combined nearly require their own little power plant

I just bought a FSP Aurum 400 PSU this year which is 80Plus gold certified (Efficiency up to 90%). With a 125W Phenom II X4 and a Radeon HD 5770 together with all other kind of electrical stuff, e.g. some fans, a water pump for the water cooling system, optical drives..., it suits my needs well, in fact, also a second Radeon or a new HD 7850 should be no problem. Why spend extra money on oversized hardware?

So after this, you can of course buy a strong PSU if you like to. But just remember one thing: NEVER choose a no-name cheap PSU with a high wattage over a PSU of a well known brand that has a lower wattage for the same price.
A good but too powerful PSU may cost you extra electricity, a cheap no-name POS may cost you all your hardware.

I wouldn't count on that FX-4100 running RoR too well. I already tried it on my brothers FX-8150 with a XFX Radeon HD 6970. Speaking computational wise, the FX processor performed no better than my Athlon II 645 x4 (15-30 fps with any of Gabester's cars). The GPU was impressive though.

While I'm on this subject. Has anyone tried 0.4.0 on an FX processor? I was looking to pull my Athlon II for a Phenom II, assuming someone has one that performs well. However, 0.4.0 may be worth the FX with the multi-core support. I just don't want to run out and buy an FX processor without testing it on the new beta.
