Billboard error (error 5?) [not confirmed]

Ok I know thiers posts about error 3 (and I think 5 too?) So I did a search to figure out if thier was a topic already about the issue im haveing but I didn't seem to get any results or they were more or less vague...

what I am getting is I believe an error 5 so I check my Direct X and made sure that was properly installed and all that fun stuff (which it is) so I tryed to run RoR again and like normal it works just fine when I choose any vechicle on any maps, hoever this error only happens when I select a vechicle useing the green becon (from the colored becon pack).

both vechicles contain the becon with in thier pack file and the props code is correct.

When either my EXT (originally made by Ethorlackson [spelling?]) or the Asyed Labs "NCAP" stepvan (both vechicles use the green-becon) the game crashes giveing my the "billboard error" which registers as an error 5 apparently.

if anyone know what might be going on please help me solve this...I checked all directX and other related items and all are working just fine...so I am a bit perplexed as to why it is giveing me this "billboard error"
