Looks very nice.
Hey guys,
i started modding 3 days ago and I thought it was time to make my own truck.
This will be my first truck for RoR, so please don't expect too much

Yes it looks very cool
We need a MAN in ror![]()
maybe someone convert it to a 4x4 semi (when it is released
Cool, MAN build good offroad trucks...
The nice thing about choosing a boxy/angly truck to be your first is that you can make it look pretty close and still have nice chunky shapes... hehehhee
Very nice looking - looks like it'll be another fine addition to the trucks![]()
What do you mean by that?Originally Posted by Isaac.Eiland-Hall
No sorry, this is my first truck and I am happy when I am familiar with the simple truck-building. So there won't be special 3d-meshes.Originally Posted by fendtje
I am sure, it would look much better, but at the moment I am not able to do it. But if someone wants to build a 3d-mesh, go for it!
Amazingly, it can already climb this steep mountain on the "Island"-Map which has an angle of about 80 degrees

Actually you already said what I could suggest you to do.
The only thing you did not mention was a skin, but thats obvious I think.
I like the truck.![]()

Well, I took a closer look on the error I get.
When I load my truck on St Helens, I can drive with it and there is no visual error, but when I open the RoR.log file .. well, look at it:

Sorry for the long time between updates. It took a lot of work. Also, I did some other things in between (started a mini cooper, deleted. started a heavy transport machine (mammoet), deleted because it didn't work, had too many hydraulics and between thousands of frustrating hours and error troubleshooting I am currently translating the Truck Description File into german

To make windows you have to have some kind of paint program that can alpha-channel. Like PAINT.net or photoshop.
lol where is my toast.
Just send me the skin and i'll make transparent windows for you
Thanks for the good feedback.
But actually this is exactly what I didn't want.
Things like "Send me and I make it". I know you're trying to be helpful and I really appreciate your offer but you must understand me:
It's my first truck and I want to do it on my own and what is even more important.
These offers might help once but I will make more trucks and if I always let other people make the windows .. that would be stupid.
So please just tell me how to do them. I have paint.net, photofiltre and photoshop.
