    Post Nissan 300zx, z31 and z32

Yep, i'm in the process of building the Nissan 300zx sisters.
Was planning on making the z31 anyway, but this thread gave me a reason to actually start.
Difference between the two will be the skin, placement of nodes, engine etc. (same file with a few tweaks basically)

And to feature in both cars, possibly the 1st time ever: realistic semi trailing arms for the rear (havn't seen this done, yet) and macpherson struts on the front (mabye, if i can figure out a decent way to do it)
And, (well, for the z31 anyway) somewhat of an interior.
If anyone has done either of the above, link me.

Current progress: Plotting out floorpan nodes and beaming together.

I've done the floorplan to z32 scale, now i need to do the rest of it.
I'm on holidays, so i'm extremely lazy, and i'm completing most of the car using the editorizer, but it'll still be quality.
I just don't want to finish it and find that its got a major issue like my hummers had (the front suspension thing, had no idea on how to fix)

And, i may have come up with a method of doing macpherson struts. But it'll need ~4 more nodes per strut compared to most other suspensions, so we'll see how that turns out later...

    The secret: Bellcrank.
They just wont be 100% realistic (strut will move at the top)

Bah, to hell with it, McPhersons are impossible and overly complex.
Ill just do a dual wishbone setup that behaves similarly to mcphersons

K, got the rear IRS right, squat looks awesome. See pic.

Now i just need to slap a skin on and tweak a few node's locations, and we'll have a Z32.

    Unfortunately, no.
I've got a real 300zx to work on, and that's taking up most of my time.

EDIT: All i need to do now is the sides and the rear bumper.

Skinning is done on the top, the front and the rear lights. And i made a majority of the beams invisible (all except suspension). Just need to skin rear bumper and sides.

Mitchd03, This looks like a really nice car, Excellent Job.

@Creepers:Yeah, I reckon it could be customised, Repaint it with flames or stripes or whatever else, make the engine more powerful, Big rear wheels.

Thanks. There are a few imperfections that you can see when its in game (little things like bottom of windscreen has a lumpy curve)

Planned. Big wheel arches, phat bodykit, decals, way dark tint, and big shiny wheels.

Only problem is that both sides will share the same skin. (i'd have to redo the whole skin to get another one to fit) so you can't put company names (NOS, HKS etc.) on the sides.

And, the z32 will be more inclined to understeer/grip, i'll have to work on the weight balance of the car (guess and check, rather than calculations : ) and stiffen the springs.
