History of this thread

Do you actually want to know the history of why I made this thread in the first place?

Well the first reason was that I was tired of watching people open random useless threads that would only contain one ugly screenshot. These wasted forum space and made the forum look ugly with 1) useless thread names 2) no user view count on the topic count 3) and when ever in the screenshot section, thered always be a "new" unviewed thread. The second reason was that I was using it to advertise my terrains. Since more people posted their shots, more people viewed the thread. In return, my thread got popular and I used that to advertise my terrains. More advertising of terrain = more downloads on the download. Nowadays people actually post their new work and to-be-released work on my topic. Genius isn't it? I think its the most usefull topic on the forum.

wow, how long did that take to do? My system would lag if I took out that many. 3 fps, thats annoying

Since yesterday its a Core2Duo E6750 @ 2.66ghz on a cheapo Asrock mobo (4Core dual SATAII) with a GeForce A7600GT TDH and sadly just 512mb ram (using my old DDR memory).
Not very special and very affordable

A dual core that's affordable? Yikes. Me thought that was impossible.
I have a HP Pavilion a1710n with an AMD Athlon 64 x2 dual core processor (didn't know I had a dual core. I guess they are affordable!) 1024 mb of memory and 320 gigabytes of hard drive space, with a NVIDIA Geforce 6150 LE graphics card, and I never would have gotten that?

The 230 is only mobo and cpu. With all the extra stuff your system has (AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4200+ 2.2GHz, 1GB PC2-4200 DDR2, 320GB SATA, SuperMulti DVD w/ LightScribe, GeForce 6150 LE, Windows Vista Home Premium) 750 sounds fair.

Yeah, I do have quite a few bells and whistles on my machine. Now that I hear that, I agree on the 750, so much stuff packed into this thing it's worth it.
