I wonder, why the crane behaves like
I wonder, why the crane behaves like
Since I'm a newbie, is it hard coded ? How can one change it ? And not to forget: It's a great fun to play with it !
it´s the way physics are in this game (a bit flexy)
Do as I say.......NOT like I do.
pricorde can make it less flexy only that whil cost at the fps
so if you have a 100core cpu than it is posible but else not
It´s the flexy thats are hard on CPU not the other way around
Do as I say.......NOT like I do.
You mean like an 8800 GTX?Originally Posted by trucker0werner

that seems logic
but i thought that pricorde has sayed somewhere that if the phisic whil make it more solid than that it use more cpu
@ squeakygeek
that is a gpu (videocard) and than you stil need atleast 2 and better 6 to get good fps
you must have also a powerful cpu (whit more cores or so)
It has the processing power of 100 cores and it can be programmed for general purpose calculations such as soft body physics.Originally Posted by trucker0werner
that is right that it can use also orhter than only phisic like the work from the cpu
but it is not that great (i think i whil skip the 8 serie if i buy a new vga) and it has not the power of 100 cores
if i have it correct than the gpu has a 380GFlops of calculating power while a cpu that you see in this system get also 300gflops (intel has made a cpu, 80-core, whit 1Tflops )
A cpu has nowhere near that much power.Originally Posted by trucker0werner
that is true that you can't get more than 4 cores but in about a year or two that whil be 16 cores (already on there roadmap)
and what i try to say whit the 80-core cpu (what also whas standing in the dia, also that it whil be ready in 5 years (that whil be fast than))
that the gpu have not the greatest flops for a processor at the moment (or nvidia or so didn't have tolled us)
for the rest it is true about the 1 tflops
http://core.tweakers.net/nieuws/4811...j-24-watt.html (dutch)
you can see that it use 24watt for 1tflops (nvidia stil use 280watt of power for 300glops)
thay have made it to work on higher ghz so it hit the 2teraflops whit 160 watt of power and on a clock of 6.26ghz
for the rest back to the topic
You are comparing today's gpus to tomorrow's gpus.gpu have not the greatest flops for a processor at the moment
tlaking about hardware is another thread i think
Do as I say.......NOT like I do.
