Also, This is MY bumper I made in 10 minutes, it looks very similar to both others right? Therefore it must be stolen right?

    (imported from here)

But honestly, if you guys think his bumper is stolen he can use mine there -.-

Anyways, I'm out, hoping he can get it proven that it is his because I know it is

You misunderstood what I was saying. I was meaning something more like what was said by TampaPowers.

The body shapes are similar but not the wireframe. Especially the rounded part at the front end and corners are made differently.

Back to the bumper, just recapitulating what we got so far since it kinda got lost within tons of posts:
left side, claimed to be own work, right side unrelevant different model.

GTA model according to OffroadMadness, although it would be good to have a download link for that model.

These are two shots of the same bumper.

For comparison, your bumper. It looks similar but is different (again especially on the rounded parts) even if you tried to copy it as exact as possible.

How NOT to post: Ignore Google, FAQ & Forum search / Open dozens of threads in the wrong subforums with titles like "HELP!!!???" / Don't care about grammar and spelling / What's punctuation and why use upper and lower cases?

Ok so... Here's the deal with this thread...

Proof that it's not his model:
He says he prefers working in 3 triangles per quad or something similar... This is simply BULLCRAP. Noone who has ANY sense of modeling would EVER do that because it's a giant waste of polygons AND it makes your shading completely screwed up. There is simply no way in argueing with that unless you have no clue how to model.
The only reason he does it, is because he's trying to hide that it's the same model as the other truck that also has the badge modeled the wrong way. And to be fair, he's doing a pretty good job at hiding it to all the users who *also* don't have a clue of how modeling works. The bumper was simply taken off of another truck. Again, the only reason Dummiesman model looks so similar was because he attempted to copy the other model on purpose. Otherwise, if he just tried to model it based on the real shape, it would have a different wireframe.

The off-topic posts earlier got way out of hand, and the users who participated in it got an infraction where necessary. If Ford86F-250 would like to prove once again that it's his model, he'll do that via PM to me. Best way to do that would be to PM me both his model and the other model as an .obj, I'll compare the two(and I'm pretty sure he has the non-his model too since he did show the screenshot comparisons earlier).

Replying in this topic again after my post will result in an infraction. I don't care who it is or what you have to say, it's gonna be useless.... UNLESS it's Ford86F-250 apologising and admitting he indeed stole the model, that would be allowed of course. I also do not care if you didn't read my post before you replied, that's your problem and your own fault, not mine. If you think you've got something useful to say about this, PM me.
I'll try and have an admin lock the thread as soon as I speak to one.
