HOW TO INSTALL:
Open your Rigs of Rods folder in your local disk drive ,C in this case "C:/Program Files/Rigs of Rods/resources" once you find the "resources" folder in the Rigs of Rods folder, open "Sounds" in the resources folder. Then, simply paste the file in the zip into there.

I researched and found out that this particular air parking brake sound is used in some Thomas Built School Buses and in some Blue Bird buses.
I am the only author (TC-2000FE) and before you edit it or use it in a mod you want to release, please ask me for permission and add me to credits.

Audi A6 2.5tdi v6 sound. Works fine.
To install just add it to your sounds pack in Computer/C:/Program Files/Rigs of Rods/Resources/Sounds.
And if that doesn't work copy the sounds zip. to your desktop(or other places) then put the v6 sound into the
sounds zip. And so you just move the sounds zip. into recourses again.
This is the standard horn sound used on US military trucks. It is a simple "Beep Beep" horn that has been used on all army trucks from the WWII jeeps and deuces to the modern-day Humvees and HEMTTs. I recorded this sound from my 1953 Dodge M37 3/4 ton weapons carrier. This file is done in stereo.
I recently recorded this sound from my brand new 454 big block chevy engine. It's a very clear sound and sounds amazing in game!!!!

Here is my latest sound upload for Rigs of Rods Class 58 trains created by tommylommykins and Miura. This latest version is compatible with 0.36.1 software compared to my last upload that was made for 0.35. This new release adds sounds for a new train, the MF77. You can find more information on the different trains and how to install in the README file.

Hi again!!
here are subway sounds again but this time, they correspond to Paris' lines 1 and 14 (it's called the MP89).
The difference is that this train is on tires so it gives a much different sound.
The installation process is the same as the other train sounds, and if you need more info, there's a README file in english and french.
These files are in a way better because when you take different views, the sound actually adapts to where it's beeing heard from, unlike my first upload.

Hi, here is my first release of any kind.
It's a pack of sounds specially made for trains that I give credit to tommylommykins for creating (the trains, not these sounds lol!!)
I recommend downloading tommylommykins Class58 train for good use of these sounds.
First, copy the following files to Rigs of Rods/data/sounds/engine
high
force
iddle
low
medium
and these files in Rigs of Rods/data/sounds
horn
hornstop
hornstart
(make sure you back up your original files because they DO NOT sound good on buses and such!!!!)
After entering the train, hold down on the "H" key to listen to the alarm and closing doors.
These sounds come from the trains ( MF67 ) used in the Parisian subway on line 2 (which are beeing replaced by newer trains), 3, 3bis, 5, 9, 10 and 12.

Some sirens I made,just rename them to 'police.wav' and overwrite the old one in 'data/sounds' =]
There are about 12 Sirens,most of them are more Police like sirens,and 1 siren for a firetruck

An alternate siren for Rigs of Rods. It is a Code 3 V-Con siren on the WAIL setting. This is my first upload. I hope to get more sirens sounds soon. Mainly a Whelen 295HF100 Wail.
To use your new siren:
1. Re-name to police
2. Place in the sounds folder
3. Overwrite the one you have there already
4. Have fun with your new siren!

This is a real-life modded siren. It sounds so realistic, and has been modded sooooo extremely well that it is probably the best one here. I highlt recommend downloading it.
Although, I had a little help from my friend with the mixing (yoyoboy) aka Brett. Other than that, I just hope everyone like it.
*** Installation ***
1. Download File.
2. Install into Main ROR Directory > Data > Sounds
3. It will ask to override. Click YES
4. Enjoy your new Siren.
A police siren. Hard to explain. Credit goes to guitarguy1985 of freesound.org for the 3 sounds. I compiled together the 3 sounds - yelp, piercer, and wail, and I shortened them a bit, to make a nice siren for Rigs of Rods. It's possible it could get repetitive after a while depending on what you call repetitive.
Anyway, have fun.
To install, rename it to police.wav and put it in the datasounds folder, and overwrite.
Caution! The sound is not of the right format for 0.36. If you attempt to use it in 0.36, you will no longer have the siren. I'm working on this at the moment.
this is a 12v71 straight pipe detroit sound for trucks just place in your data/sounds/engine folder i got these sounds from a kenworth sled puller so install and enjoy!
This is the updated version of "New Soundpack" by volvo-6-cil-power. I fixed the low.wav added medium.wav and lowered the volume of all the sound
BE SURE so backup the original sounds folder.

Here is a 6 cylinder diesel sound. Even though it does not sounds like a cummins, its a good mix on the 1st gen dodge. Thank Box5Diesel for making that fantasic truck! Remember any sound i make and release is a gift from me to you. Have fun and enjoy the sound clip!
Notes: To install, simpily drop the idle.wav into the ror/data/sounds/car folder. If the file is not named idle.wav, please fix that or else it will not work. Thank you.
Here are some sounds that I recorded from my dads 91 dodge ram 350 which has the 12v Cummins in it and got them working pretty well in RoR, In the pack there are starter sounds and truck engine sounds, I also included the original sounds that this pack will replace there in the folder named "original_sounds" enjoy!
To install extract all the files that are in the "cummins_12v_sounds" folder to your Rigs of Rods "data/sounds/" folder (example: "C:Program FilesRigs of Rods 0.35datasounds") and every thing should work.
Some new soundpacks. It are really high quality and very realistic sounds! They sound much better in the game then on wm!!!
Just put all the files of soundpack 1, 2 or 3 in your sounds map.

this file consists of two (2) American Siren files that need to be put in the sound folder in the RoR file. the one file thats in there now need to get changed to police1 or something like that. the one file in this pack that is "police1" if it is the one you want needs to be changed to "police in the sounds folder... if you have any questions PM me. Thanks to LHFD for allowing me to use these sound files!!!
This sound is from a Detroit 60 series 4 stroke motor. Its pretty good sounding if you ask me. To install. GO to ror/data/sound/cars and place there!
Its not perfect, but its good to me.
