This modified Island.terrn file allows default planes such as the Otter and the Mig to spawn without exploding on the Island map that comes with RoR.
It may work with other non-default smaller planes too.
It was modified in cooperation by JamminR and DeathSheep.
To install, rename your x:<ror location>dataterrainsisland.terrn to island.bak or other name.
Then save this file into x:<ror location>dataterrains
(X being your drive letter RoR is installed on, <ror location> being where you installed RoR, usually c:program filesRigs of Rods v##)
Installation, put in the following folder:
for 0.35 and bellow: Program Files Rigs of Rods x.xx PACKS
for 0.36 and up : My Documents Rigs of Rods PACKS
This is a mod of nHelens standard Terrain, It contains an Air Race that will be a walk-through with Otter twin Plane ;-) (except one Checkpoint in the water.... hehe a bit of emotions...)
First and last Checkpoint are Green, normal Checkpoints are red. Once you start the race all checkpoints will be spawns !!

Extra terrain pack that adds 6 extra terrains to the 2 terrains included in the standard distribution. These extra terrains are preliminary and have no roads, loads or buildings, but are fun to discover. To install these terrains, extract the archive content to your dataterrains directory.

The Objects, which are necessary You for performing the Missions, are enumerated in file "Objects.htm".
Move the files "smallisland.raw", "smallisland9sqkm.cfg" and "smallisland9sqkm.terrn" in Your RoR-folder/Data/Terrains.
To execute the Mission 1 move the file "smallisland9sqkmm1.terrn" in Your RoR- folder /Data/Terrains.
The Archives, containing rest Missions, is protected by password.
To hear the password to archive, containing Mission 2, necessary to execute the Mission 1. After unpacking of archive "smallisland9sqkmm2. zip", move the file "smallisland9sqkmm2.terrn" in Your RoR- folder /Data/Terrains To hear the password to archive, containing Mission 3, necessary to execute the Mission 2. After unpacking of archive "smallisland9sqkmm3. zip", move the file "smallisland9sqkmm3.terrn" in Your RoR- folder /Data/Terrains and so on.

This is a is a simple revision of "FlatMapFull32x", it contains some updates such as:
A better grass texture. (The old one was bad.)
A smaller file size. (196 KB)
Two more semi trailers.
The added racetrack from kristian. (I moved it from the middle of the map to the corner, and added a few things.)
The map optimization from thomas.
Installation is easy, simply download and place into your RoR packs folder.
a version of the flatmap with a test ramp. YOU NEED THE ORIGINAL TEST RAMP IN THE MESHES FOLDER (0.36.2) OR PACKS FOLDER (0.35 OR BELOW). For people having problems: i tested this on 0.36.2 and i dont know if it works in 0.35.
I remember u that after that you make an extract copy of flatmap, the original one (the zip one) must be deleted. if u have other problem search Test Ramp and followm the instrucyion that the original uploader gives you
This is a simple dragstrip that itaxi requested/had the idea, and bigcody123 made the main mesh, and I made the actual terrain and placed the buildings and setup the spawn points.

This is a recent made map. Not my first but also not my last.
I didnt map out the trails with any painted pathways so you gotta find them on your own. Pretty fun map, i tried to make many cliffside trails, and belive i did just that. Enjoy, feel free to add to it if you want to. just let me know if you have done so.
Yes, Mountain Run 3 is finally released. After a month or so of problems I got tired and quickly finished it. Although, I hope I had more time to polish it, still I think youl be satisfied. I must say that this IS the toughest offroad terrain to date for ror. Visit the track thread for info on different spawning points.
Stone Mtn terrain. another edit. has a scania loader, truck shop, airport, flat area for takeoff. all DEM data except the flat area that you start on courtesy of USGS database. PLZ MOD. ATTENTION-THIS WILL(should) REPLACE THE OLDER STONE MTN MAP.
A basic terrain with a truck shop, hanger, load shop, and marina. This is a beta, and isn't complete. You MIGHT have a slight/huge FPS drop because of the lag the climbing hill may generate. I, myself, get a perfect 24-25 FPS with the '94 Dodge. The roads were a bust and need to be fixed, so your going to have to wait (or you can fix it yourself and upload it, just give me credits for original map, no need for a PM)for an update. The drag strip is long, my guess is near 1/4 to 3/4 mile long, you can measure if you want. My first terrain for ROR: a small island with a peak.
There are 3 ways to clib the hill:
a) a large, concrete road that can be used, not easly, even for bus or big truck.
b) a narrowed off road way that start almost at 1/2 of the road a)
c) a off road way that start from another place (find it)
