It was made as showcase for the my Meshed Roads Tutorial.
===
What it has?
- A long Meshed Road made in Blender (yey some smooth road) - A nice landscape - Road Signals (Watch out for them, they are usefull) - Normal and FPS version (With trees and without them) - Perfect for Racing, Cruising, Hauling or launching yourself from the cliff :P

Mud, mud and mud. Five different types of them, a really detailled terrains with ruts, mudpits and everything.
Everything in a field, so it's rather small.
Declined in 4 versions:

- FPS-friendly (no detailled terrain textures)
- Rainy (with caelum rain)
- Sandy

Hello. This is the last version for Verniocity, is, the last. No more updates for this, since it has everything now.
The interesting part of this map is that is an urban map, but not a flat map.. Anyway it have a long highway around the map, an offroad course, houses, fire department, so everything that an urban map need.
It have grass, trees, alpha splatting that give a nice look the the map..

Please watch this short video (Is updated) just 2 minutes
This is another version I made for Verniocity. It is compatible with the other one (the original one )
Anyway this version have the city with flood roads. A lot of objects are destroyed and there are trees, bus stops on the road and many other things!
I wanted to acheive a straight long enough to max out every car, whilst making the terrain itself fun to take pictures, offroad on that kind of thing.
The straight is approx. 8km long, although I believe its actually slightly longer. and the offroad trails are longer.

PrT Audiman - Terrain, video.
WARNING: make sure you run RoR "as an administrator", otherwise the map will crash, it's like this...
Version: 2.0
- Added a full new map, dirt track, rally style
- Reworked all ground textures and materials, now features normal mapping and alpha splatting
- Reworked the vegetation a lot
- Reworked caelum sky and atmosphere
- Angelscript races for both maps
Thanks a lot to LJFHutch, who let me use his birch grass texture.
Thanks also to Lifter, I used a few objects from a previous project that he modelled and I textured.
You may like to download the K700 from ZTS which fits good in the scenery: http://www.rigsofrods.com/repository/view/781
Activate the vegetation, the maps are really based on it.
If your computer can handle it, activate HDR, the maps are pretty much designed for this (will look rather dark otherwise)
Some videos better than long texts (the car in the second video is not available, don't ask)
Version: 1.0
This map is pure offroad with tons of mud, really deep water crossing, rocks,... It is inspired by the extreme offroad challenge held around Ladoga lake in Russia.
Play the map with vegetation ON otherwise it will look terrible.
It features a time race - not working with the present version of RoR, but fully functionnal otherwise.

Fir trees not made by me - I don't know who made them, thanks a lot they're great!

This is another version I made for Verniocity. It is compatible with the other one (the original one )
Anyway this version have the city with flood roads. A lot of objects are destroyed and there are trees, bus stops on the road and many other things!

-Other buildings by Redeye, PORTALized and TheRock1990;
-Trees by Mirfi + one little modification by me (I take them from one of the Pedropp's maps);
-Heightmap, Texture Map and some object, object placing by me;
-The fallen log is by LJFHutch;
-Some of the new textures for this mod by CG Textures.
NOW WITH ALPHA SPLATTING
REMEMBER: YOU NEED TO DELETE CACHE FOR MAKE THIS WORKING CORRECTLY!!!
IMPORTANT: For a better perfomance of the map you should activate the particles sistem, waves and good water settings. This map is full of trees and the water make the map FPS killer, so it's not recommended for potato/toasters computer. Sorry.
Took the classic Nhelens terrain and ran it through L3DT generating some new textures. I also fixed the lighting issues of the terrain staying light when using caelum. Should still be pretty fps friendly. Simple but effective in giving this terrain a new life. All credit goes to Pricorde for the original terrain, and credit to me for the textures.
Since the base content is now shipped separately, here is Belgium on the repository for you to re-discover it!
It's the first map I ever made, it was originally for 1nsane. It has been converted to RoR with great success, in terms of details, height resolution, vegetation, mud and rocks. There are plenty of things to be done there. Each part is designed for you to have fun. It's mainly good for offroad.
I'd like to thank the following members for their help during this first map building, they gave me the RoR-love (I may shed a tear ;-) ):

Tdev
Fat-Alfie
Box5Diesel

General advice for maps with vegetation: Run Rigs Of Rods "as administrator" since windows vista, otherwise the maps with vegetation may crash the game.
All content is for use in Rigs of Rods only. Read the copyright file included in the zip!
This is a small map I built for my erectable wind engine.
Features:
- Contains all parts of my fully transportable and erectable wind engine. See included manual for button assignments
- A winding road to transport the windmill pieces
- A small train track with tunnels
- Nice looking textures and vegetation (Thanks for all your help DeGa!)
I will not make a FPS version of this! If your PC can't handle it, buy a new one.
Credits:
- sputnik_1: meshes, node and beam, textures, map
- DeGa: massive help on the terrain, thank you so much
- BigBoy, Craneman, Inviteds, Donators: testing and help, thanks a lot!
Description: An off-road racing course set in the desert. 700m x 700m. Includes parallax mapping version and FPS version.
Currently has minor issues:
* Seams between textures are strange, they're reflective and glow at night.
* Texture Shadows don't work with the vegetation or the terrain shader.
Authors: LJFHutch
Check the imposters file for correct imposter files and instructions (place them in main ror directory).
Thanks to everyone who has helped me along the way, especially DeGa. Also a big thanks to tdev for providing the hard work for the parallax mapping
All textures were made from photographs taken by myself and you have my permission to use and edit them for Rigs of Rods projects, crediting where appropriate. Also feel free to use any objects included for RoR projects.
I hope you enjoy it!
Updated with Proper Jaw dropping Alpha Bump Mapping
Something i have been working on for a very long time now.
Thank-you Al T. for making one of the biggest bridges in RoR.
Thank-you LJF Hutch for letting me use your trees.
Thanks to Miura for helping fix the Alpha Splatting Issues.
PrT Audiman for the Map and Placement of Objects.
If it crashes your game when loading a vehicle then play RoR as administrator, its due to imposters. nothing i can do about it.
It features a very wide range of roads at least 20km of it so you'll be driving through Beautiful scenery
2 marina's
Massive logging company
2 villages
Airport
15km of dirt roads
lakes
3 versions all with different skies.
special skies
fps version
non animated creatures find them in the sea
and ALOT more!!!
Credits:
Tatanovitch for the great skies
Box5Diesel for some farm objects
Mirfi for the romanian buildings
Lepes for the depo's
Towpro for being a great beta tester
Nadeox1 for being a great beta tester
Zanjani13 for being a great beta tester
silver and bronze donators for being pretty useless beta testers, thanks. :|
PrT Audiman for placing, re-texturing, organizing, editing, creating the map, and everything else
BUGS:
2 pieces of road are way stretched, when you see them dont drive on them, its not a problem its two pieces of road lol
airport taxiway is at a weird angle
airport hanger has a step in it
maybe a few depo's are at weird angles but that is it
*New terrain shading system by Miura, you can now see al the bumps on the road much easier
*Trees are now more realisticy placed
*Boulders and log piles are now scattered around the map
This is a nice forest cruising map I made. There's almost no map that's similiar to mine, so this is unique so far.
What's on the map: Cruising gravel roads, camping spot, a few small gardens, trees (a lot of them) and various signs warning about stuff you should know.
This map has a normal version and an FPS version with much less trees and less grass.
Credits:
LJFHutch for the trees and the custom sky settings
VeyronEB for the houses
Me (OMGWTFBBQ) for the map itself
Miura for helping me with the terrain
