DS9 Off Shore Crane - Science Research & Salvage
Belongs to the DS9 Submarine!
It features:
- a 2-bridged overhead crane on the water
- sidewarts extendable main booms to unload onto the land
- a car/cargo deck that can lock down loads and cars.
- a car ramp to drive on/off with vehicles..
- hooks that go under water to pick up sunken ships or loads
- side-thrusters for better manuverability
- underwater flares to see what you lift at night..
it can lift/transport/unload at least 70 tons!
I haven't tried heavier stuff..
This Crane is opensource - do with it as you like..
Here is my Hyster top spreader i made for the vast amount of growing containers RoR has acquired.
Thanks to my beta testers for feedback.
once spawned the hyster will bounce a little just press backspace and it will be fine.
to hook onto a container slowly drive to the center of the container and extend the spreader(the spreaders extends more than the container so you do not have to be dead center to hook onto the container properly)
Make sure all 4 ties are secured and lift with the engine reved.
There is a readme with the controls.
This Pack have a lot of Skinzips for the Heavy Crawler Crane. The Skinzips are for the normal Crane Version - and the Skinzips with "NT" is for the Narrow Track Version.
You can use ONLY ONE Skinzip in the Game! And ONLY ONE skinzip in the PACKS folder! If you want to use another skinzip- delete the old skinzip in PACKS.
this is a project i will most probably never Finnish as i started something else instead.
its the 4x4 thing and a custom made crane trailer for it,
the 4x4 thing has 4 wheel steering at low speeds, locked diffs and a steering wheel.
the crane trailer has ropes and a invisible leg, the commands for it are are:
F9-F10 lower and lift the crane boom.
F11-F12 lower lift the invisible foot.
'O' connect load
'L' lock crane trailer to vehicle.
to connect the trailer drive the 4x4thing so the trailers hitch node is above the grease mark on the 4x4 thing and it 'L'
to pick up a load back the crane trailer over it lower it so its with in 1.5m from the object and it 'O' once it connects
and the ropes shorten hit F10 to lift the load of the ground and drive away. reverse order for dropping a load.
the crane trailer is usable on other 5th wheel hitches.

Added some copyright file to the zip, since someone found it necessary to use my mesh without permission for another game.....
This is the Liebherr LTC 1045-3.1. It's a small compact crane which can lift 45t at close range.
The crane is fully skinable and you can download the PDN files here You are allowed to release new skins onto the repo but please make it a .skinzip!
Be sure you got an up to date RoR version
