This is the standard horn sound used on US military trucks. It is a simple "Beep Beep" horn that has been used on all army trucks from the WWII jeeps and deuces to the modern-day Humvees and HEMTTs. I recorded this sound from my 1953 Dodge M37 3/4 ton weapons carrier. This file is done in stereo.
This is a Detroit Diesel Idle Sound. This Sound is for the Cars/trucks. This is not for the Big Semis. Have Fun with this Sound File and Enjoy The Sound! Trust me You will love it!

HOW TO INSTALL:
Open your Rigs of Rods folder in your local disk drive ,C in this case "C:/Program Files/Rigs of Rods/resources" once you find the "resources" folder in the Rigs of Rods folder, open "Sounds" in the resources folder. Then, simply paste the file in the zip into there.

I researched and found out that this particular air parking brake sound is used in some Thomas Built School Buses and in some Blue Bird buses.

Read the readme. If you have a force.wav delete that from your folder. It will make it sound bad.

An alternate siren for Rigs of Rods. It is a Code 3 V-Con siren on the WAIL setting. This is my first upload. I hope to get more sirens sounds soon. Mainly a Whelen 295HF100 Wail.
To use your new siren:
1. Re-name to police
2. Place in the sounds folder
3. Overwrite the one you have there already
4. Have fun with your new siren!
This is a volvo diesel sound. I recommend you use this mostly in busses because at high RPM it does not sounds great. This was because of the quality of the sound I recorded. Sadly it only had iddle and high because we were reving it, extract to /data/sounds/engine (remove force.wav if exists)
Here is a 6 cylinder diesel sound. Even though it does not sounds like a cummins, its a good mix on the 1st gen dodge. Thank Box5Diesel for making that fantasic truck! Remember any sound i make and release is a gift from me to you. Have fun and enjoy the sound clip!
Notes: To install, simpily drop the idle.wav into the ror/data/sounds/car folder. If the file is not named idle.wav, please fix that or else it will not work. Thank you.
