I threw this together in about 5 minutes, and it came out surprisingly fun.
I hope you enjoy this map, since its decent for all sorts of off road vehicles.
You may mod and release mods of this terrain.
Story:
You have gotten yourself in quite a predicament; half way through a giant river. Now you must decide to go back or continue on in your current heading.
Hello, this is a simple mod of Sea Roads, a winter edition
What it have:
-Fully working Groundmodel;
-Grass and Trees (Choose the density between 25/50 and 100%);
-Nice snow textures;
-Nice caelum settings.
Credits:
-Trees by calamity;
-Help on exporting by TheRock1990;
-Map, Objects, textures, and all the things that you see by me.
This is the updated version, delete your cache before to use it.
Changelog:
-Fixed grass, now it is not on the road anymore;
-Changed some caelum settings;
-Moving clouds.
Hello! This is my last released map. It's very simple, and I made it in two days. I called it Sea Roads because it have two long highway between two islands! Anyway it doesn't have anything complex, just roads and some buildings.
It have a load spawner, two truck spawner and boat spawner. Also my first (released) map with tree sistem!
Credits:
-Map, objects, objects placing, some textures by me;
-Trees by Calamity.
Info:
-Set your vegetation to 100% or you will not see trees.
This is another version I made for Verniocity. It is compatible with the other one (the original one )
Anyway this version have the city with flood roads. A lot of objects are destroyed and there are trees, bus stops on the road and many other things!
Credits:
-Houses by Yodel714 and TheRock1990;
-Other buildings by Redeye, PORTALized and TheRock1990;
-Trees by Mirfi + one little modification by me (I take them from one of the Pedropp's maps);
-Heightmap, Texture Map and some object, object placing by me;
-The fallen log is by LJFHutch;
-Some of the new textures for this mod by CG Textures.
NOW WITH ALPHA SPLATTING
REMEMBER: YOU NEED TO DELETE CACHE FOR MAKE THIS WORKING CORRECTLY!!!
IMPORTANT: For a better perfomance of the map you should activate the particles sistem, waves and good water settings. This map is full of trees and the water make the map FPS killer, so it's not recommended for potato/toasters computer. Sorry.
Took the classic Nhelens terrain and ran it through L3DT generating some new textures. I also fixed the lighting issues of the terrain staying light when using caelum. Should still be pretty fps friendly. Simple but effective in giving this terrain a new life. All credit goes to Pricorde for the original terrain, and credit to me for the textures.
As I've never done a map before for RoR, hotrod55 helped me get it ingame.
It is a desert type map, with small to large hills and dunes, with ocean surrounding it and a river running through the middle.
Its also fun to try and power up the large hills on the side of the river that you spawn on.
Tools used to create map:
Unity3D 2.6 - Height map
Notepad - Getting into ror
Credits:
Me - Creating the height map in Unity3D and final adjustments to the .terrn file
hotrod55 - Getting the map into ror.
To Modders:
Modding the map is fine with me and hotrod55 as long as you follow these rules:
-Don't do ugly mods
-Released mods should be released on the repo as a mod to this map
*New terrain shading system by Miura, you can now see al the bumps on the road much easier
*Trees are now more realisticy placed
*Boulders and log piles are now scattered around the map
This is a nice forest cruising map I made. There's almost no map that's similiar to mine, so this is unique so far.
What's on the map: Cruising gravel roads, camping spot, a few small gardens, trees (a lot of them) and various signs warning about stuff you should know.
This map has a normal version and an FPS version with much less trees and less grass.
Credits:
LJFHutch for the trees and the custom sky settings
VeyronEB for the houses
Me (OMGWTFBBQ) for the map itself
Miura for helping me with the terrain
Features:
- 3 different courses which are timed via an Angelscript file
- Decently smooth roads ( built using RoR Toolkit )
- Custom terrain made by me in L3DT
Rockisland was inspired by the 1998 game Viper racing developed by MGI more info can be found in the readme, i have also included my enbseries settings in this zip, read the readme for more info on that.
i hope you enjoy it and please post any bugs or questions in my rockisland Thread here Rockisland-from-viper-racing or pm me. thanks
there is also an off road track and a drift track.
This is the DS9 Map: Submarineworld 09 - "The Ocean" part 1
you have 4 large harbours for containers, passengers and other goods..
..a trainline, suited for container transport
a fire department and a bus-line with lot's of bus-stops..
a large and deep watermass with some underwater stuff to explore and salvage
not all is perfect - I made some mistakes that got obviouse too late to restart..
..I've fondeled around a lot - and I think it is now playable..
however - it is not quite what I had in mind..
REQUIRED Dependencies!! - the map won't work right without them:
- Demag ZKKE - for the harbours
- GGKRK02 - Crane for trainstation
- Trainvalley map
- Hyster Top Spreader - other train station
- Destructable Baricades
- Rock-Load
- some trains you like
- some busses/trucks you like
- some ships you like
- some submarines you like
Credits:
sputnik_1, DEMAG ZKKE & Railroad system (thanks for the help)
Redeye, bus-stops, bus-depot
jugendflamme, RORFD
donoteat, industrial buildings, cementplant
I dont know, distcenter (was told I may use it but have no idea who made it originally)
blendswap, the ship wreck, cc0
I've made:
train tracks, docks, industrial building 1&2, Trainbridge, Castle and the map
Terrain description:
This is a desert island, it has no roads but tracks are marked with washed-up logs. There is a few very small settlements dotted around the island.
You start on a peninsula in the midde of the bay and drive across the sunken bridges to get to the island.
You'll need a decent offroad car as there's a section where the track dips underwater, and quite a few large mounds in the roads (where I didn't quite do the heightmap right lol)
Credits:
LJFHutch: Every single non-default object in the terrain (most of the objects I have taken from his Greece map).
PsychoDog: The actual terrain.
F1 Terrain Creator: V1.2 uses trees from the F1 Test Track.
Enjoy.
V1.2
Some fixes and improvements to the island. For the full list of all the edits read the readme. The main edits I've made is to the sunken bridges on the penninsula (I've got rid of the log section since that caused some problems when you drove over it) and added a couple more tracks and buildings. Also added some crops to the farmers field so it's not just green ground any more.
Never released Versions 1.1 - 1.19 because I didn't think there was a big enough change to justify a reupload, so this is the first update. Please tell me if I've screwed anything up that was correct in V1 and I'll fix it.
This works best with 0.38.67. If you use 0.39 there may be some extra bugs (e.g. I had a lot of collision problems when I tested with anything newer than 0.38.67) and things may not look quite right. No fixes are planned for obvious reasons (0.4 is going to be the next release, not 0.39).
*PLEASE DELETE THE OLD ZIP (Zyk.zip) BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD THIS ONE!*
This is PsychoDog's Caralynea Desert Offroad Park.
I've had this on my hard drive for ages as it was one of the first terrains I created. It's a desert park which has been turned into an offroad playground by humans. I tried to get a mix of natural-style features and manmade-style features. It was one of the first terrains I created, so it's not brilliant, but it's worth having a look.
It's not visually amazing either, but it's great fun for thrashing an offroad vehicle round. It's quite big and has a lot of features so you shouldn't get bored.
Any mods will be welcomed, especially for the visuals as I never spent a lot of time on the visuals for this terrain.
Credits to LJFHutch for the shelter. Credits to Donoteat for the ramp. Credits to Sneer for the trees used in the terrain (out of the F1 test track).
Extended Canions, some underwater sight seeing and some crates to pick up..
Some Meshes are made by me, some are from blendswap cc0 or cc-By:
spacehead (antenna), Snowcapstudios (catwalk), Sky_d (sfdoor), Glaudius.s (watchtower)
There is a second version included, with mesh roads..
DS9 Map Submarine-World 06: The Dive King Challenge
The first Submarine-Race in ROR
Angelscript race map with working API
Thanks to Lepes and Box5diesel for the usage of the Torus-Meshes from the NSH-Airrace (LUA, RIP)
They look awsome under water - don't they?
Rules: you may mod DS9 (or any other submarine) as much as you like - tuning allowed as long as the vehicle name clearly identifies itselfe as a tuned version..
=> only full qualified mods with unique ID are allowed..
Otherwise you have to use the default vehicles (DS9 or MK2 or what ever comes up in future)..
I really hope, that this leads to a huge flotilla of specialized submarines..
remember DS9 is OpenSource - so go ahaed - mod it and publish your own submarine(s)!!
