A Short Story you should read..
"Explorers have found this abandoned place in some unknown location. Perfect Condition, like if somebody, ...or something, has been living there.
Not a single sign of vegetation of other life signs is noticeable. The weather is always Cloudy, but it never Rains. Some weird Structures are present there, some of them have some strange signs on them, and the word N-LABS, probably the name of this place. A lab, to test what?.."
Quote from Explorers Diary:
"This place is Quiet and Spooky. Some of us are acting strange. We felt like being Watched. Those Towers, there is no way to get up there, no entrance, and we can't see trough those dirty windows. around the mountain is an area that reminds me of where i grew up, a lot of strip mine roads with switchbacks, you will find a few hill climbs in this one as well as a mud bog track, the track uses the race script so it keeps time on how long your lap is,
its the first time i have use the angel script so i hope there's no bugs other than it not finding the server thing..
i put a lot of work into this to make it as frame per second friendly as i could, you will notice a few versions when you get ready to load the terrain.
on this terrain i set up ArtifexTerra3D to place my RGB maps so that made things a lot easier when placing the texture. ( my others i had done by hand ) and ArtifexTerra3D allowed me to blend the textures and overlap when i needed,
i'll set up a tutorial for this if anyone is interested. ( just send my a PM )
on a side note my gaming PC died a few days ago, and i don't have money to fix it at the moment so my other projects that im working on have came close to a standstill until get that up and running again.
any and all comments are very welcome! it just drives me to build more and better terrains, take this one as an example,( compare to my last terrains ) i added sound effects and a moving waterfall on the normal version ( though the waterfall didn't work out the way i had hoped)
i hope to keep bringing the rigs of rods community more and better things in the future!
you will find that the mud bog race is rather fun but not to be taken in some vehicle due to the depth of some of the mud and some of the way that tyres are set up in some vehicle.
anyways, i hope you enjoy this terrain and i hope to bring more to you all very soon. and later i do plan to convert all my terrains to Version 0.4.0.7 or above. i know the Version 0.4.0.7 looks very promising on performance!
Hello. This is the last version for Verniocity, is, the last. No more updates for this, since it has everything now.
The interesting part of this map is that is an urban map, but not a flat map.. Anyway it have a long highway around the map, an offroad course, houses, fire department, so everything that an urban map need.
It have grass, trees, alpha splatting that give a nice look the the map..

This is another version I made for Verniocity. It is compatible with the other one (the original one )
Anyway this version have the city with flood roads. A lot of objects are destroyed and there are trees, bus stops on the road and many other things!
