This is a very comprehensive mapping of the ror controls to the PS3 controller. I have spent a lot of time on this and it should work with the latest version. See the included picture, for the actual controls.
*to enable your ps3 controller to work with ror and your computer, follow a dodgy tutorial at your own risk!*
How to install:
1) Back up your current input.map file if necessary.
2) Extract input.map to My Documents/Rigs of Rods 0.38/config
or My Documents/Rigs of Rods/config (0.36 - 0.37).
Note:
The controls should be compatible with model numbers: G-UD8, G-UF13, G-UF13A, G-U0001, G-U0002, C-U0003 and G-R0001. Please correct me if I'm wrong (I only own 2 Dual Action gamepads).

Here is my version of the Logitech G27 input file. Even has low, mid, and high gear range for driving big trucks and cars with more than 6 gears.
Help document is included if you need help and pictures so you can see what button does which function.
I believe it is compatible with the Logitech G25 wheel, but might have to modify it to get all the functions to work right.
Input map for the Thrustmaster RGT Force Feedback Clutch Racing Wheel
You have a Thrustmaster RGT Racing wheel and want to use it in ROR? Then use this input.map!
To see all the commands, have a look at the pictures.
Note: I haven't described how to steer and to use the pedals, I think you already know this if you play a game like Rigs of Rods.
Also make sure you have configured your steering wheel right, to check this, open your Thrustmaster control panel and compare your setting with the ones I have added in a screenshot.
Installation instructions
- Extract the .zip file to your desktop
- copy the file input.map to Documents/Rigs of Rods/config
- Play ROR and have fun :-P
Remember to change your gearbox settings for ROR to Fully Manual: sequential shift
This is the input map for using smartphones (android only) like a sterring wheel or pad for GRemote.apk
Program using wifi to connect with smarphone.

Finally open rorconfig and disable forced feedback.
For those of you who may need guidance with motioninjoy setup, here ya go!
There has been a problem with ror crashing upon entering a vehicle. If you have this problem please disable your forced feedback in the rorconfig.
Please be aware that this key map is for people who wish to use their Playstation 3 controllers by utilizing the MotioninJoy software. It is also designed to be used with the default "PS3" profile setting within MotioninJoy.
UPDATE 1.1: This is the revised controller for auto and manual transmissions. Camera issues were also resolved in which the camera rotated a different speed than the character.
UPDATE 1.2: Minor adjustment to camera control button configuration.
UPDATE 1.21: Clutch for manual transmission added into the controller description(No download necessary).
Note: If anyone can and would like to help, I am having trouble finding a way to remove the artificial steering centering. This causes the steering wheel to return slowly, which may work for keyboard users, but makes joystick steering very difficult at high speeds. Please don't hesitate to PM me and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This is my input.map for the Gravis Gamepad Pro. It's a simple controller, but all the basics are added. There are only 2 common buttons; entering /exiting vehicle and repair vehicle(backspace). It is setup for automatic shift.
Have fun and if you find any bugs let me know. (you shouldn't seeing how it's such a simple controller.)
This is a ROR keymap for the Logitech Driving Force Pro and Driving Force GT . This keymap is for combined pedals OFF. You can do it with Logi Profiler/Options/Global Device Settings/Report Combined Pedals
For blinkers and other options, you must use the Logi Profiler and record button by keystrokes (like POV)
Installation: ROR 0.38
1. Download the ZIP, and extract input.map to My Documents/Rigs of Rods 38/config
2. (DFP for blinkers) Extract Rigs Of Rods.xml to ROR directory an load this file by Logitech Profiler
Logitech Profiler / Profile / Import next step Select profile / choose Rigs of Rods
Here is a config file for the Microsoft® Sidewinder USB steeringwheel.
I have made this config because some people have problems with setting axes.
You can simply add him in the configurator.
How to install:
1) Open the configurator
2) Click on "controls"
3) Click on "import keymap"
4) Select the .map file (unzip the archive first)
Now you have a fully working Microsoft® steeringwheel
UPDATE 0.38.XXX
1) Extract the .map file out of the .zip
2) Go to your documents folder and go to the "Rigs of Rods 0.38" folder.
3) Then click on "config" and replace the .map with the one out of my .zip (backup first)
Hello! This is my first input.map I do and it's for my Serioux gamepad. It's a VERY simple input map with 2 buttons and 2 axis. Enjoy!
P.S.: This input.map works with most of the gamepads.
A proper control map configuration for the DFGT provides full 900 Degree steering.
How to install
1- After backing up original Input.map (or renaming to Input.map.old) place this input.map in your documentsRigs of Rods 0.38config directory. -Note: you will find the original there too
2- Import the RoR profile (Rigs of Rods.xml) to your Logitech Gaming Software (Under "Properties" select "Import" and browse for the xml to where you extracted it.
-Note: In order for 900 degrees to work properly run Logitech Gaming Software as Administrator (This will help other games too) if you don't like like 900 degrees then i suggest you still use the profile just use the software to edit it.
Also: Force Feedback works best with the configuration set to Overall 100%, Steering Force Feedback 400%, and rest 0% (These options can be found in the RoRConfig Under Controls, Force Feedback)
Controls:
>X=Headlights
>Circle= T -Keystroke (Physics Engine Analyses Overlay)

This is a keymap for the Logitech G25 or G27 wheel. It has everything set up for vehicle use, including the push-down reverse gear, the clutch+shifter and the ranges for trucks with more than 6 gears. You must set up the force-feedback yourself.
When first selecting a truck, you may need to push and release each pedal to make them work properly, sometimes they are on 50%. Also, you must have combined pedals OFF. You can do this in the Logitech profiler or via Game Controllers in Control Panel.
Ranges are the four black round buttons on the top of the shifter, the bottom one is for low range, the two middle ones are both for mid range and the top one is for high range. Your gearbox must be in "Fully Manual : Stick shift with ranges" for ranges to work. Your shifter also must be in N to switch ranges.
This MAY work with other Logitech wheels but it's untested and I offer absolutely no promises.
