UPDATE 3: Fixed some more texture issues and replaced the grass and asphalt textures with higher resolution alternatives since I accidentally scaled them down before.
UPDATE 2: Fixed a possible crashing bug on the FPS version of the map. Also fixed some texture issues and added mini images. Might have done some other minor stuff that I don't recall at the moment.
UPDATE: Now has a race around it. You'll need to regen your cache for the race to show up.
This is Mountain Run. It has one 6 or so kilometer long road that weaves amongst the mountains. It's also good for crawling if that's what you like to do. Features alpha splatting and proper ground models.

This is my latest terrain, Eagles Peak.
The mountain is around 530m tall, and the key feature of the terrain, is the insane road that spirals it way to the peak. There is a tall communications mast situated on the summit, owned by the small company: "Eagles Peak Telecom International", who have a small office at the islands port. There is a small port/base area with a hanger, docks, ferry loader, truckshop, load spawner.

This is just a simple terrain i made in L3DT and put some grass on. It is a very nice looking green map. It is very fun to drive with Box5Diesels Suzuki on it.

Here it is, Snow Valley! I said i would realise it in that day i get summerholiday, and that is today!
This is a terrain with many crawling spots. The ground is snow and grass. It is many roads with 3 bigger villages and 2 smaller. It is also 2 airports and one littel bit taxiroad.
Secondking helped me with the new ground, so if you have the new updates to ROR it will be more slippery on the snow.
It is available to get grass on it but i don't use it (my computer can't handle it)
To install on 0.36 put in: my documents/Rigs Of Rods/Packs

My first terrain for ROR: a small island with a peak.
There are 3 ways to clib the hill:
a) a large, concrete road that can be used, not easly, even for bus or big truck.
b) a narrowed off road way that start almost at 1/2 of the road a)
c) a off road way that start from another place (find it)

WIP canyon map. Im still learning blender and 3d modeling but I got enough of this map done to be able to post it up and I thought people would enjoy it so have fun.
This map isnt wide open, so strangely it feel quite big.
and at least the texture isnt so weird in this version, but is still quite ugly 
there is of course, lots more work to do.

Rigs of Rods Mountain!! New Terrain/Map
Here's the map i've been working on. Its not completely finished, but I dont think it will ever be completely done, but its ready for it's first release.
*To use the map, Place the whole Zip in ur packs folder, Dont extract*
*To use in multiplayer, type MtROR in the server box of any server of ur choice*

River Rock Crawler map

This map is a little something I made just to have some rocks to crawl on. It's really fun with the Exocage Suzuki Samurai, it can crawl nice and slow, and if you pick your line well, you can make it all the way through. That's whats fun about it, its technical enough for the smaller vehicles to really feel like you have to be smart about what rocks you go on.
There is a High quality version, and a high fps version for people with slow computers (but the ground texture is alot worse).

Monster Truck Stadium
Wide open, fantasy sort of arena with a bunch of crushable vehicles, and jumps.
If you have a old version, this one now has "unpiercable" submesh on the crush able vehicles, so you should rarely get stuck in them now.
*This is the version for decent computers, download the FPS version above if you have a slow computer.* |

New Wild West Map
New map that I made with lots of rock crawling trails. A few custom built roads for hauling. A baja race with checkpoints (timer not working), and various desert things. Make shift landing area for planes (just so they weren't left out completely).
This is just a all around useful map for anything really... Enjoy.

Baja Track - New Map
Here's a new Map i made mostly for the Trophy Truck. It has some big jumps and burms, and some bumpy sections.
There's two races (not checkpoints) so its fun in MP with other people to race.
You need to know how to control the trophy truck in the air to land most the jumps, but once u can control it, u can get through both races smooth and land every jump.
I didnt add a truckshop because I couldnt fix it spawning trucks with there gears reversed. Anyway, enjoy.
You can put the zip in ur packs folder, or extract it to ur terrain folder.

Yet another version of the Flatmap terrain. This time it is a mod of DNEs flatmap with his roads. (So I can have something to start with to mod the map).
This is Flatsville county. A small county with about a population of 1000. Low taxes make this a good place to start a business. All kinds of jobs are available here from a bus driver, truck driver, lawyer, farmer, teacher, pilot, crane operators and so much more.
Known bugs: Some buildings have no collision like the logging mill, your tires will get stuck in the middle of the police parking lot, and some lag when you look across the map.
There are multiple places you can spawn at.( change the spawning place by changing the .terrn file.
Construction yard, airport, race track, and town.

You need RoR version 0.38 or later version for this map to work properly. Don’t come crying because the map is slow and/or your vehicle doesn’t contact the roads. You need 0.38 or later.
it does take a minute or two for the map to load, but its worth it
New update as of 6-29-11
Redone Rockton spawn area
Load spawner at the airport
Added a bus station (its crappy says AL T  )
Added a lousy oil rig
Fixed the height of the two load spawners at the port
Added American speed limit signs and parking limit signs thanks to AndrewB
Some spawn areas show the trees and some dont for better FPS, and easy too delete trees if you want.

The port, quarry, and rockton city / bus station spawn areas do not have trees for better FPS, delete the trees at the end of the other .terrn file if you want.
Port and airport only have the oilrig mesh enabled on the terrain. To see it on the other maps, just delete the // in front of the opocoilrig. It is contactable, but rorbot goes right through the oilrig.
A large mod of Lennis Opmap, which is now called Rockton county. It is a terrain that is about the size of the North St.Helens map. This terrain has almost everything that makes for a very fun map. A terrain with flat areas, farm land, hills, a small river/stream, a large quarry, off road trails, forest, port, neighborhoods, airport, a town called Rockton and Lakeville, industrial area, two schools, and much more that will make this terrain fun for a long time. Also it no longer conflicts with Lennis Opmap.
There are multiple places you can spawn at.:
Rockton, Lakeville, airport, port, quarry, farm, industrial area.

The F1 test track you all know well and love is available with fall scenery. Using the updated version by Skip78, who I have permission from. Original track by sneer.
Recolored trees and other textures. Custom Caelum sky for that cloudy autumn weather. Added some stuff to the oval track. Seemed to be neglected before.
Races work on 0.38. Will run on RoR 36.3 through 0.38.67. Not RoR 4.0 compatible, unless someone wants to convert it. |

This is a challenging mountain trail beginning at 3600 meters and finishing at 200 meter. If you're a begginer you can try to go from the top to the bottom, but if you're an expert you can try to go from the bottom to the top! |
