BE SURE so backup the original sounds folder.

International DT466 7.6L Inline Six cylinder Diesel. The sounds were recorded from my friends 1990 Wayne International school bus. Goes best with the school buses in ROR but is suitable for the other large trucks and buses as well.
A replacement siren I recorded. It features an SVP Phaser, and a Whelen Wail. It has a few clicks during the audio but its still cool. Its a little quieter than the orignal. This is my very first upload here too.
A siren I modified for RoR. Unfortunately I couldnt get an answer as to exactly what this siren sound is called, but For now Ill call it a triple siren. I consists of a short wail, then some yelps, then an electronic sounding hi-lo.
For it to work in the game, you must rename the file to \police.wav\
I suggest you back up the old police.wav in case you dont like this one.

this is the Dixie horn sound, also known as the Dukes of Hazzard horn, this is from Lassie for GTA San Andreas, but i like this one better than the others for RoR so i thought id add it here, i did not record it, i just renamed it for RoR to install just put in data/sounds, and copy 3 and rename one of each to horn.wav, hornstart.wav, and hornstop.wav
A Detroit 2 stroke diesel 12v71 from a 1970's kenworth w900a
as a bonus i have added 2 idles a rough and a smooth idle
installation- just copy and paste low, medium, high and iddle too the sound/engine folder if u want the rough idle too work just rename from iddle (2) too iddle and it will work
Here is a 1-71 Detroit Diesel Sound for the cars. They only made 900 1-71 engines. they made them only for two years from 1938-1939. Well i thought you guys would love the sound. It sounds pretty cool if you ask me. Well Cheers. =]

This is a volvo diesel sound. I recommend you use this mostly in busses because at high RPM it does not sounds great. This was because of the quality of the sound I recorded. Sadly it only had iddle and high because we were reving it, extract to /data/sounds/engine (remove force.wav if exists)
This is the Dutch ambulance sound. I have mixed the normal with a fastest sound.
place it in the sound map en give it the name "police.wav" en delete the normal sound.
ok so this is a new sound for the police.wav file it's a federal signal with rumble you can easily hear the rumble tell me if you like it if not i can take it off
this will overwrite the old police.wav so back it up if you don't want to keep this siren
This sound is from a Detroit 60 series 4 stroke motor. Its pretty good sounding if you ask me. To install. GO to ror/data/sound/cars and place there!
Its not perfect, but its good to me.
this file consists of two (2) American Siren files that need to be put in the sound folder in the RoR file. the one file thats in there now need to get changed to police1 or something like that. the one file in this pack that is "police1" if it is the one you want needs to be changed to "police in the sounds folder... if you have any questions PM me. this is a 12v71 straight pipe detroit sound for trucks just place in your data/sounds/engine folder i got these sounds from a kenworth sled puller so install and enjoy!
