I made a small trailer for anyone who want something for the smaller cars.
Remember to add "forwardcommands" to the car/truck you want to use it with if its not there.
The trailer is not complete, so far its v0.8.
Need textures (If anyone can texture it, that would be great).
And it need some few fixes.
All feedback (good, bad, ideas, fixes, etc.) are welcome.
a new addon truck+trailer. a yellow scania and scania training trailer.the credits for the original scania truck go to 1crash007.the credits for trailer and the rest that stands in the readme are for me.
The finsihed caravan created by me and bonehead. "So you know the textureing is good". Just try is out and be carefull at speed because it dont tow very well.
To couple trailers together:
1) Have the trailers spawn in front of each other (you cannot steer them, and good luck backing it with the tractor)
2) The trailers control the rear hitch ONLY, so you should not have to adjust the rearmost trailer. Get in the trailers as you would a truck and move the trailer forward/backward accordingly. Hit "L" to attach the dolly to the rear hitch.
3) Use a vehicle with a tow hitch to move them at once. I have pulled up to 4 trailers at a time (5th trailer hitch broke)
This is a modded mb_trailer. Orginal trailer is made by questnl. I put a ramp door on the back, in regards to request I had seen, plus reduced numbers of axles to 2. You will need the actros-black in order to get the material file.
Updated version
Old version crashes due to submesh problems, no mesh on this one and most beams are invisible, kingpin clearly visible, in this version
Set of 2 framed end-dump trailers, as requested in the forum
One is a trailer for a semi with a hook in the back, the other is (almost) the same but has a 4-wheel dolly so it can be attached behind the 1st trailer.
Commands:
F1/F2: raise/lower legs on 1st trailer
F3/F4: lower/raise 1st dumper
F5/F6: lower/raise 2nd dumper
F7/F8: decrease or increase distance between trailers.
Note: both trailers are set up as airplanes. You can enter them like any other car/truck, but you do not need to start the engine to get import-/forward commands to work.
Do not start the turboprop, because it smokes a lot.
Edit: Made shorter versions of the trailers, and changed suspension setting. Get them here
this is the flatbed trailer that sinorstanger created i give lots of credit to him and i was reallesing this for him
f1/f2 for legs f3/f4 to move axle forward back wards u need to take the trailer off to putt thinga on what u do is extend axle towards truck f3 then u lift the truck with the legs:P
6 trailers in 1 packages, they all have a wooden floor and diamond plate frame.
F1/F2 for the front legs
F3/F4 for the rear legs
- Stepdeck: 53 foot long, 102 inch wide, spread axle (16.0 x 2.6 meter)
- Flatbed: 48 foot long
- Flatbed with bulkhead
- Flatbed with spread axle
- Flatbed with sliding axles. F5/F6 move axles, F7/F8 adjust axle distance.
Warning: you can slide the rear axle out of the frame!
- Extendible Flatbed. F5/F6 to make it longer/shorter.
It has almost double the nodes of the normal flatbed, but it still flexes a lot
Put the zip in the packs folder, or unpack everything into the trucks folder.
This is a trailer I made from Pricordes semiflat. The main middle frame is the same, but u can see the changes. It has tie downs in numorous spots for vehicles of all sizes. Gooseneck style hitch and neck, new texture, new ramps, and it can fit the behemoth (barely), lol. This was to be a pack with the duece, but I might attach it later to the duece so u can tow it around in multiplayer.
*BUG FIX* LATEST UPDATE
I'd like to say I've fixed the "Big Tex Goseneck.load"
*ever sense .38's "Pinguinville" came out there have been various conflicts with the map's and it's own materials & meshes, merely the extent to which I altered the trailer is merely changing the mesh names to void such conflicts* [read more]
With extensive help from Sano_, Aenill, and Googleboy via IRC, as well as practicing with the old cartrailer.load file (creator unknown atm... working on that before I release that one), may I present...
The ol' Caravan... With 0.33 support, including flares, credits @ selection screen, a "mini" file, as well as the ability to just place the .zip file in the "Packs" folder of your RoR Packs directory.
All credits go to Adamoninternet, the creator of the original trailer, who I really should've asked before uploading this update. Adam, if don't wish this modification to be released to the public, contact me, and I'll remove the link(s) to it.
Other additions include:
* Increased weight for added realism
* A description
* Removed brakes, etc from it, primarily due to wierd bug (All explained in .load file within the .zip, next to the Wheels section).
* A few more comments about the trailer in the .load file.
A car trailer uploaded to the repository quite a while ago (pre-v0.31). Credit for original chassis + skin goes to Stealth.
I added flares to this trailer, primarily using it as a learning experience.
;Changes from original:
; * Added brake + turn signals/flares
; * Reduced braking force, to prevent trailer from bouncing
; * Added some .33 support/info to this .load file. (Authors, fileinfo, fileformatversion, etc)
Beverage Trailer (this time with fixed texturing).
Requested by Leipoo, and I made it because RoR didn't have a single axle semi trailer yet.
Shape, dimension and textures are loosly based on a Hackney Beverage trailer.
This is an addition to the stepdeck and flatbed trailes I build earlier, and you must have those installed for this to work.
It is an extendible flatbed trailer with steering, that can be centered again for driving straight.
F1/F2 for the front legs
F3/F4 for the rear legs
F5/F6 to make the trailer shorter of longer
F7 to steer the trailer one way
F8 to center the steering
F9 to steer the other way.
Instead of using the same commands to steer left or right, it uses 2 sets of commands programmed on 3 keys (instead of 4)
(It is supposed to have the same ID as the other trailers, but the name got cut off when uploading)
Youtube link doesnt work becuase it has an underscare in the name: UrGK7nvw_zI
This is my Huge Enclosed trailer. It can fit the liebber, that should tell how big it is. It's also only 34 nodes, so Fps are great with it. You have to really try to roll it over, so it has a great center of gravity. Has working flares, ties, feet, and ramp, so u can drive pretty much any vehicle in and strap it down.
Included in this pack are:
1)Gooseneck Enclosed Trailer
2)Bumper Pull Enclosed Trailer
48 Foot reefer with spread axle.
Made from some pictures send to me (and some imagination), colors are matching the Peterbilt 359.
F1/F2: Raise/lower the legs
F3/F4: Raise/lower kingpin a bit. I added this because sometimes the trailer got stuck in the truck wheels. That chance is reduced by not tagging 2 polys as contactable on the trailer.
I turned the cement truck into a trailer by removing the cab and the 2 front axles.
The drum is enlarged to fit the frame, total length is only 8 meters/27 foot and it weighs 20 tonne.
Despite having the load nodes at the bottom of the frame, it still want to tip over.
Known bug: Because the drum is stretched, at a slightly different angle (7 degrees instead of 9 on the truck) and rounding the coordinates, it is not balanced.
It's rotation alternates left and right. You can use the mouse to give it a swing, but then it seems to gain rotating speed and makes everything shake. (Looks funny, but makes it drive bad)
F1/F2: legs
F3/F4:extend/retract chute
F5/F6: rotate chute
F7/F8: lower/raise chute
A new version of the side dump trailers (because of some problems with the old version), with added flares and unique-ID.
Two version included: the regular version (right), and the roadtrain version (left) which has the axles moved backwards and a 5th wheel added so you can attach another trailer to it.
F1/F2: legs on the roadtrain trailer
F3/F4: legs on the regular trailer
F5/F6: dump to the left
F7/F8: dump to the right
New versions of the dump trailers because of problems with the original one.
Long dumper (3 axle), long dumper with dolly (4 axle), short dumper (2 axle), and short dumper with dolly (4 axle).
They all have lights now.
F1/F2 for the legs on the long and short dumpers.
F3/F4 to raise/lower the bed on the long and short dumpers.
F5/F6 to raise/lower the bed on the trailers with dolly.
F7/F8 to increase or decrease the distance between the trailer. (so you can move them further apart, back up at an angle, pretend to empty the first dumper without disconnecting them)
They are set up as normal trucks, so their engines must run for the commands to work. I tried it with the turboprop thingy from the original version but RoR kept crashing untill I removed them. :-(
The trailers with dolly also have a hook in the back, so you can chain them together if you want.
Also included is a new frameless dumper. It is based on the old one, but it has a new a-arm, new legs, new dump bed, lights and mapped to the same texture as the others.
Just a little trailer for the Willys Jeep Smiley. It works good with other small vehicles too. Keeping the current theme with the jeep, it is very barebones. But it works good and will follow the Willys Jeep just about anywhere without causing much of a fuss.
**REQUIRES THE WILLY'S JEEP .ZIP FILE IN ORDER TO FUNCTION CORRECTLY** (Uses the same wheelfaces).
There are some trailers that can be hooked behind eachother to make a roadtrain, but they can lower your framerate a lot.
These trailers are made from as few nodes as possible to keep framerate up. The downside is that they do not have a lot of details. (no lights, no contacters, no props)
Two versions are include, a set of 3 and a set of 5 trailers. Both can be entered (like a truck) and have a 5th wheel in the back to hook up more trailers.
A 10x6 foot 2 axle trailer, as requested by i_so_live_here.
I made a trailer like this some time ago, but never released it. It wasn't too hard to resize it and add a 2nd axle.
Ctrl-F1/F2 for the front legs
Ctrl-F3/F4 for the rear gate
Ctrl-F5/F6 to raise or lower the towbar
A 3-axle refrigerated trailer, modified from the spread axle reefer.
F1/F2 to raise or lower the legs
F3/F4 to adjust kingpin height a bit (to avoid rear truck wheels getting stuck in the trailer textures)
Feel free to modify, and a skin-template is included.
Trailer with an ampliroll hook, modified from the Volvo.
Removed the cab and the 2 front axles, and made a regular tow bar. Color is matching the Zetor Traktor.
You have to enter the trailer like a truck to connect the hook to the load, the wheels are still driven so you can move it forward and backward.
It has importcommand so it "listens" to the towing vehicle as well (if that has forwardcommands)
ctrl-F1/F2 for the legs
ctrl-F3/F4 for the tow bar height
ctrl-F5/F6 for the arm with hook
ctrl-F7/F8 for the dumping arm
ctrl-F9/F10 to tighten the ties (they sometimes only grab, but don't tighten)
originally made by trevor i have shored his stepdeck and flatbed to make a nice heavy duty stepdeck and ramp capable of loading a d9 there is also a wide load one that can haul the tank
WARNING: you will need trevors original pack for this one to work and to unfold the oned half of the ramp you must pull the node backwards.
Trailer perfect for the bobcat
Credit for frame goes to billylund
All mods credit go to me
To install, Place in Packs, if you have the Construction V1 pack you must open it and delete the 3 files name "dtrailer" or game will crash.
TRY not to go over 70mph, the bobcat is just a small challenge to get on it, try to get the bobcat in the middle as much as possible.
The ties that grab the bobcat are VERY secure (I did some torture tests )
i did a job at a trucking company and one of there trailers had variable width, well i was thinking about it and decided to make a 20m long 3-6m wide trailer, as this is my first load file i still don't know how to make it roll on able so i couldent test it with a load so i don't know if it will carry one, all though even if it was just carried over the 12 wheels this would still be more use full than most, as i have not been able to test the load carrying capabilities i haven't added ties
f11-f12 for the feet.
f1-f2 to spread the trailer
ctrl+f3-ctrl+f4 to lower the ramp
A small mod for Box5's goosneck trailer I thought of in light of DieselFuelOnly's trailer that is for standard hitch trucks. 99% credit goes to Box5 and 1% me. All that was needed was to drop wheels all done.
this is an update to my trailer, delete the old wideloadtraler.trailer file and place this in your packs folder.
the beams aren't that thin i was testing globebeams
commands
f1-f2 to spread the trailer
f3-f4 to lower the ramps
f5-f6 to lift the front up on the trailer(it can get stuck on things, and with load it sometimes rubs on the floor)
f11-f12 for the feet
"o" to lock a load on the back the 2-3 rows(x beams have ties)
"l" to lock the trailer to the truck
this needs some work, i wanna add a lip to the inside of the runs because wheels slide off, i wanna re-work everything and make it so the spread works by Slide Rail to add more stability, you'll know what i mean. and i wanna do the same thing with the ramps they come out far enough for 4x4's but things like bus's wouldn't get up
this is the second version of the cattle trailer, basicaly i fixed the lights, i did a little work on the mud flaps, fixed a few nodes in the front so now its not all flapy in the front!!
Kenworth Transfer Dump Truck
A transfer dump truck inspired by a request on the forum.
Credits go to Box5Diesel for his Kenworth truck.
For information on how the system works see the request and showrooms thread.
Feel free to modify, but use a different unique id to make it not conflicting with my truck.
Skins for Box5diesels Kenworth should work on this truck, but I'm not sure.
I've fixed a little bug with the material of the trailer dump box.
