These are some new meshes/textures for the standard checkpoints. I tried to keep the essence of the old one while adding a few of my own ideas. They are exactly the same size as the originals and so can be drop-in replacements for the standard checkpoints RoR ships with.
Read the readme for installation instructions.
I give you permission to do whatever you want with them.
Bus Infrastructure Pack by Redeye
for Rigs of Rods
This pack contains the following objects:
- "rey_bs_bigstop": Large, modern bus stop with platform (or bus bulb) and fancy shelter
- "rey_bs_depot": Garage for two buses (or other vehicles). Can be arranged side by side to make a larger stack. Should also work as a warehouse or similiar structure.
- "rey_bs_shelter1": Roadside shelter, rugged concrete, typical of older urban bus stops
- "rey_bs_shelter2": Roadside shelter, modern
- "rey_bs_shelter3": Roadside shelter, brick, somewhat old-fashioned and rural
- "rey_bs_sign_blue": Blue bus stop sign (nothing too fancy here)
- "rey_bs_sign_white": White bus stop sign (neither)
Installation:
1. Place the files into your "resources/meshes" folder in your Rigs of Rods installation directory. (Or into your particular preferred map's "terrains/my_particular_preferred_map" directory. It really doesn't matter that much.)
2. Rig up the terrain editor truck with the object names above.
3. Scatter them around your map.
Custom colours:
Assuming you have a _rough_ idea of what you're doing ...
... all the included objects bear coloured linings (somewhat black-ish by default) that can be customized according to your needs (or rather, according to the needs of the fictional transit company you may have in mind). To change the colour, open the ".material"-file of the according object, find the material that ends with "..._col", and change the "ambient" value to reflect your desired colour. Colour data is in RGB values.
You may distribute these objects with your map provided you credit me as their creator.
Haven't been on the RoR scene for a while, and this is my third (or fourth?) published modification. This package includes all three of Box5Diesel's 1st Gen. Dodge Cummins vehicles; only the wrecker was modified, however. I added S/T/T (Stop/Turn/Tail) lights to the lightbar, attempted (but failed) to add lower taillights to the chassis (it's meshed, making it hard if not impossible to add flares down there), plus changed the fancy blue-blinky lights into white, non-blinky work lights (operable via CTRL-2 (rear) and CTRL-3 (front)). Additionally, I modified the timing of the orange strobes to provide for a more realistic, and interesting, pattern. I amped up the braking power a little as well. All credit goes to Box5, as all of his vehicles are of excellent work! If you've downloaded the original set of vehicles, this package will cause a conflict if you don't remove it (sorry).
This is version 2 of my "MeshTools", It will convert OGRE XML meshes to the Wavefront OBJ format, or convert Wavefront OBJ to OGRE XML meshes. I made it for the community and myself, because I personally think getting models in the game is easier this way.
Usage : Drag an Wavefront OBJ file on to "MeshTools2.exe" to get a corresponding XML Mesh, or drag an XML Mesh on to the executable to get a corresponding Wavefront OBJ file.
This is a very short guide that wil introduce newbies to Rigs of Rods. I made this since the wiki is getting old and sometimes it's hard to understand. This is a PDF File. So download the ZIP and open the PDF with whatever PDF Viewer you have.
Hope it was helpfull
It's quite big since it's has images to explain stuff better
This is one of my first maps.
Its very Fps friendly, there are no objects on.
Get permission from me before releasing mods.
Thread: Sandy-Shores-(Released)
Enjoy!
This is a modified particles.zip, it contains some different spark textures made by me. They are much smaller and less ugly than the standard particles. They are also affected by gravity more.
Installation:
>Backup old particles.zip in C:/Program Files (x86)/Rigs of Rods 0.39/resources/ in case you want to revert to the old textures.
>Put this file there, overwriting the original.

These are just some road textures that I made a while back and thought you guys would like to have them.
Update: The preview images didn't change because I couldn't remove the ones that we're already there. But with the update I have:
- Improved realism of the road lines. Thanks to Al T. for suggesting I improve them.
- Added a gravel shoulder
- Made all textures 4x higher resolution
- Removed double yellow lined version, I thought it was quite ugly
Hello! This is my first input.map I do and it's for my Serioux gamepad. It's a VERY simple input map with 2 buttons and 2 axis. Enjoy!
P.S.: This input.map works with most of the gamepads.

installation:
for .36.1 users add the files that say default_diesel in front of them into Rigs of Rods 0.36.1/resources/sounds.zip
for .35 users add the files named iddle, low, high, force, and medium to 0.35/data/sounds/engine
Simply replace the old "input" file with this one.
It will be located in Libraries>documents>Rigs of Rods 0.38>Config
Finally open rorconfig and disable forced feedback.
For those of you who may need guidance with motioninjoy setup, here ya go!
There has been a problem with ror crashing upon entering a vehicle. If you have this problem please disable your forced feedback in the rorconfig.
Please be aware that this key map is for people who wish to use their Playstation 3 controllers by utilizing the MotioninJoy software. It is also designed to be used with the default "PS3" profile setting within MotioninJoy.
UPDATE 1.1: This is the revised controller for auto and manual transmissions. Camera issues were also resolved in which the camera rotated a different speed than the character.
UPDATE 1.2: Minor adjustment to camera control button configuration.
UPDATE 1.21: Clutch for manual transmission added into the controller description(No download necessary).
Note: If anyone can and would like to help, I am having trouble finding a way to remove the artificial steering centering. This causes the steering wheel to return slowly, which may work for keyboard users, but makes joystick steering very difficult at high speeds. Please don't hesitate to PM me and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
