Liebherr LTM 1220 Custom, Version 1.0
Abstract: a beefier mobile crane was needed to complete certain tasks, such as heavier loads than previously and more stability when transporting an attached heavy load. Ideas that spawned and were implemented include overhead tower elevator hydraulics instead of the boom underside elevator hydraulics that were weak under heavy loads, ties for the crane rotating base to the vehicle frame for less wobbliness under heavy loads and movement yet allowing disconnection so the crane base can rotate, wider wheels for potentially better traction and less wheel breakage when making a turn over curbs, higher total weight for physically better stability, and strategically located heavy load nodes once again for more stability. Intended for RoR v.0.34; use of specific mass load nodes are new to this version and important for optimum functionality of this crane.
;REVISION 0325.26.1.08 //Time (24 hrs).Day.Month.Year
;original by Pricorde, "Custom" package modifications by DSwan (TruckMax)
;Custom Trim by DSwan includes:
;Wider wheels, increased total weight, tuned dynamic weight distribution, crane base lockers, new boom elevators, new supplemental front wheels, modified engine & tranny (better range--ultra-slow creeper gears to cruising highway gears), other minor modifications
;Custom package effects:
;More stability during loading process and loaded movement, up to ~40 Tons can be lifted, in practically (vs. ~20 Tons w/original version), better traction under all circumstances, especially loaded
A Final Word: Thanks for a great mobile crane Pricorde! Expect version 2.0 by February 1 -- enhances may include wheels on the extending feet for awesome stability when transporting heavy loads, rear supplemental wheels like the front supp. wheels, wider stance, more crane structural reinforcement, custom rims, hydraulically adjustable counterbalances, and more! A revision, i.e. v.1.1 or so, may be released between now and then testing fuctionality of upcoming features and/or fixing problems with version 1.0. |

Liebherr LTM 1220 Custom, Version 1.1
Intended for RoR v.0.34; use of specific mass load nodes are new to this version and important for optimum functionality of this crane.
;REVISION 0235.28.1.08 //Time (24 hrs).Day.Month.Year
;original by Pricorde, "Custom" package modifications by DSwan (TruckMax)
;Custom Trim by DSwan includes:
;Wider wheels, increased total weight, tuned dynamic weight distribution, crane base lockers, new boom elevators, new supplemental front wheels, modified engine & tranny (better range--ultra-slow creeper gears to cruising highway gears), other minor modifications
;Custom package effects:
;More stability during loading process and loaded movement, up to ~45 Tons can be lifted effectively, in practically (vs. ~20 Tons w/original version), better traction under all circumstances, especially loaded. Version 1.1 removes the hydraulic feet and replaces them with wheels, which can be deployed while moving a heavy object. The vehicle is FAR more stable while moving a heavy load now; Version 1.1 is rated to effectively haul 30 tons up to 30 km/h @ < 15% grade. Before Version 1.1, the stats were 25 tons up to 25 km/h @ < 10% grade.
A Final Word (same note from Liebherr Custom v.1.0): Thanks for a great mobile crane Pricorde! A mini liebherr based off of a 3 axle liebherr crane. You can do wheelies.
HOW TO DO WHEELIES:
shift into reverse in automatic transmission, then punch the gas until you are going full speed in reverse,
then shift in first really quick and punch it! Its very fun. |
